The old law - and i don't think it was amended in the new one - had wording that marijuana cultivation felonies and felonies more than 10 year old would not count against you.

Another thing to be aware of too is having sufficient inventory once you get going. I almost ran out a month or so ago while still waiting for my first crop in my redesigned setup. Just made it tho, down to my last ounce. What I mean is, having a patient counting on you, signing up with you, then having to say at some point I'm out. I am determined not to let that happen again, and with my current setup it won't be a problem.

I almost always have a few extra Oz's to donate to cardholding fellow caregivers....

yes but you have a 6 plant max and a 2.5 oz every two week max, so in theory, you can have your caregiver and go to the disp. but you have to regulate not purchasing more than 2.5z /2week or you can grow and your caregiver can grow but with no more than 6 plants followering total, between the two of you. Thats how I read it, anyways..

I see. So If I had 1 patient. With both me and him growing at separate locations. Our combined total of flowering plants can not exceed 6?

Yup, just like you used to be able to have two caregivers, one of which was "primary" and able to grow. Now it's only one caregiver.

I believe this is still true. a dispensary (with your state card) and a caregiver with your 6 plants, except you can't purchase more than 2.5 every 2 weeks. I know you can't have 2 cregivers and you can't go to 2 dispensaries but just like you can grow 3 and your caregiver can grow three.. you can't repeat the same source but you can mitigate sources to maintain a safe constant access for patients.. Call John on it, im pretty sure i'm right on this.
