I Think It's Time to Harvest

Here's my first grow, random bagseed.

I'm on day 66 since I switched to 12/12. I have two plants going, but this one seems more ready than the other.

It's really tough for me to tell clear from foggy trichs, and I wish I could post of those up here. I don't know if that's an easier thing to see than I think, but I'm just hesitant I pulling the plug. I'm pretty sure I saw some foggy trichs and maybe a few amber.

I did water her with nutes four days ago, and watered with no nutes yesterday.

Any advice would be appreciated!

excellent looking plants, i would say look at the trichomes with a magnifying glass to see if they're amber colored is so they should be ready. the nice red hairs make it tempting. nice grow.

no no no. i dnt think u should harvest. i think u should chop em down and send them beautiful nugs to me. ill dispose of them for u. lol. really nice looking buds friend. keep up the good work.

Thanks everyone. I had my ups and downs with this grow, and can't believe it ended up working out.

I originally had three plants growing, one ended up being a boy. I attached pics of the second plant, that I don't think is quite ready....it does have an odd growth spurt on the top of some of the colas, that is not crystally at all...don't know what that's about.

As for lights, I'm using a 4 2-foot T4 tubes along with 10 CFLs (most are now 2700k with one or two 6500k)

I vegged for 80 days, but I didn't know what I was doing at first and stunted their growth a lot from over-watering, heat issues and premature nutes, lol. But I eventually pulled it together I guess.

I don't have time to harvest until Wednesday at the earliest.

ya hats prb good to wait till wed. turn its lights off tomorrow and give it 24 hours of darkness

You a believer in that? Ive read a ton of the info about the dark period, but curious if it really does anything?

Finally, someone who has done their homework lol. I guess I'm used to people posting pictures at week 6 asking how much longer.

Enjoy the smoke!

A good sign to harvest is seeing a lot of the larger, lower fan leaves turn yellow and fall off. That's a good thing.
Means the plant has starved the rest of the plant to keep nutes flowing to the tops. They both look ready to me.

I BigSteve - you really think the second plant is done too? The pistils seem to long and not lacking red hairs. I'm going to but the first plant in 24 hours of darkness tonight - should I be getting ready to chop down the second as well?

The two plants are most likely different strains since it's random bagseed.

i would let em go for a week or two more maybe? Them white hairs are looking pretty fresh. Thats just me though.
