High temp indoor grow question

Has anyone cultivated in less that optimal temp condition and was successful?
With out the aid of heaters or Ac.
What was the lowest and highest temp's and results?

Currently I'm in the 80-90 degree range in the box... Yes' no Ac in location to support my experimental grow.

Yes its possible, some strains take it better than others. Keep it more around mid 80's and you will still see great growth, assuming everything else is on point.

90 degrees is really getting up there and will no doubt stress the plant(s). My grow room ran as hot as 86 in the summer with no ill affects, but I would try to keep the temps around 80 max. Are you using any exhaust fans? Without seeing your setup its hard to give advice, but there must be SOME way that you can vent off some of that heat. Also, a good circulation fan is essential for healthy plants. Can you give us more specs on your setup?

my summer run was in the heat a few days got into the 90's, it killed yield big time, the buds where super airy. the potency was crappy too, all the strains i run seem to like it best at 75f to 78f.

If you are getting 80-90F currently in your box, what is the ambient temperature outside of the box? That will give you an idea of how your ventilation is doing and how much its increasing the temperature. If you lower the ambient temperature in the room where the box resides, it will lower the temperature in the box, plain and simple

I grew in a "server case"(see blow in signature)...was a pain in the ASS to keep temps below 90-100F...stunted the shit out of my plants...the lower you can get that temp below 85F the better off you will be in such a small space.

I'm having issues as well man, I decided to get a c02 tank for the next run. But basically my temps are usually right around 87-91 degrees at tops of the plants, but can get up to over 100 degrees with the door shut.

I have some yellowing leaves and somewhat slow budding growth (on half of my beauties) but other than that I think people blow high temperature warnings a little out of proportion.

EDIT: don't get me wrong I don't recommend it, I will be putting a hole in my ceiling for ventilation soon!

I try not to ever let my room get over 86 degrees... It slows down the growth IMO.... I keep my temps between 76 and 80 degrees farenheit.... Let it go awhile and monitor them ...Some plants do fine and even like high temps .....

yeah the strains that have their roots in the african deserts and afghanistan plains would be more heat tolerant than something originating in the mountains
