How can you say McCain is infinitely smarter than Obama? And how, within that same statement, do you misspell infinite? If you were paying attention, one of the stimulus bills came from Bush and company, and the other stimulus came BECAUSE of Bush and company's mismanagement of this country. tarp, signed into law by shrub, was not an economic stimulus. it was a bailout.
the ARRA, signed into law by obama, was an economic stimulus that created or saved millions upon millions of jobs.
hell, with the couple thousand that bill has saved me so far, i have not only invested in lights, but tons of materials to build a greenhouse, supplies from the local grow shop, on and and on and on. those couple thousand dollars in savings, when invested, were multiplied many times over and those dollars are STILL working their way through the economy in some form or the other.
perfect example would be the dinner and a movie i just got back from with the wife. because i used my tax savings wisely and invested, turned that investment into other investments, i was able to afford the occasional night out on the town. which, along with others doing the same, creates aggregate demand, which is the TRUE job creator. keynesian economics at their finest.
had there been no ARRA, i might be on food stamps and unemployment instead.
unlike what many say, i am living proof that it was not an 'abject failure'.
