Help Am I Over watering???

Dude. By far your plant is looking great. It was a tad over watered. Your leaves look great tho man. I would up the PH tho to 6.5 and I bet your plant is even happier. I see a lot of half ass seedlings and young plants on here. yours is pretty decent dude. Looks similar to a deadhead OG plant I have going right now. same leaf structure.

so when getting water say distilled with a netrual 7 should i add nutes to it and ph up or ph down first altogether before adding nutes?

the more nutrients that are in water the higher the PPM, the higher the PPM the more resistant to ph change it is. so its easir to bring your distilled ph down without nutes in it. but once added, the ph will rise slightly, anout.2-.4. so take ur pure water, bring the ph down to 5.8, then add nutrients to the water. the water should then balance out to about 6.2 which is what you want. but even if your watering the plants without nutrients because of ur schedule (feed, feed, water is mine) the pure un nutrient filled water should still be at 6.2.

the more consisten your PH is, the less stress the plant goes through which makes better buds and faster growth.

so basically no matter what kind of liquid concoction you put in your plants, just make sure the PH is at 6.2 right before you give it to ur plants

edit: so ph first, then add nutes, then recheck and adjust PH as needed

Just use your tap water. Test your tap water with a tds pen/ec meter. Should be 200-400 ppm. Distilled will be 0 or closer to it and thats not good. The ph of your tap is different than mine, but test it and adjust from there.

never use tap water unless you've let it sit out in an open container for 24 hours. tap water contains chlorine and chloramine to kill bacteria and will do the same to your plants. didtilled water with a PPm of 0 is best in my opinion because once you add the nutes your PPM comes up and you can track it. if using distilled though, you just need to make sure that your accounting for trace elements such as CAL, MG, FE, MAG, ZI (zinc, idk what the abrv is) and so'on

ya man i figured i was just already on the post so i figured id broaden the info. not tryna step on your toes, you had the right info

EDIT: but chlorine and chloramine that are in small amoumts but present every time you water WILL kill your plants, its not a once and done thing but by week 6 of chlorinated water your plants biological structer will start to unravel. chlorine eats away at plant tissue as well as kills all your micro beneficial bacteria that are supplying your root structure with oxygen as well as breaking down nutrients into more disolvable pieces

yep no problem! and ya you should, as someone else already said it should be like $12 buks for a complete up and down kit. Ph is one of the most important things. everyone has all these theories and methods on nutrients, ppm, and water type but honestly as long as you keep your basics monitored and consistent (ph, water amount, water time, temp, humidty, drainage) then your gona have great plants regardless of weather or not all the other things are perfect. those are all just perks once youve got your foundation locked in.

hah no dont flush. you will get a shit ton of different opinions about flushing and i cant necesarilly say any of them are wrong or bad. but in my personal opinion, i will never flush unless im sure that the plant wont survive without it. your plant looks fine right now and has alot of time to get into her own groove so just adjust the PH and keep the nutrients at a low level for the next week and see hows shes doing, if she looks good then keep increasing your nute amounts (i usually bump mine every week and a half to two weeks but not by too much) the next time. if shes shows some chrispy tips, back off em immediatly. but dont flush unless you walk in one day and all your leaves have taken on a heavy portion of crisping and burning since the last time you saw em.

but i will say that with plants nothing is set in stone. each remedy and method must be determined on a case by case basis. each plant and each problem are different so care should be taken not to do anything rash until you know for sure what the problem and remedy is

Dude seriously, no crap. That's why I agreed with you about letting it sit out for 24 hrs. Your previous statement made it sound like one watering with tap is going to kill the plant. No need for the caps there smart-guy, my eyesight is just fine

It use to look so good. So is this over watering and nothing else? my 1st time growin just want someone with experience to let me know if anything else is wrong but im pretty sure its just over watering, the other day it was slightly droopy so i added more water (pure) next morning it looks crisp, fat, and hung over

your plant is pot bound homie. Transplant it to a bigger pot when it dries out. also, when you transplant it massage the roots around the sides and bottom a whole bunch to loosen them up and speed the process back up.

bam right here. root bound. the only other person that knows... water your plant every 3 days. but after you trans, its more like 5-7... just feel down a couple inches into the soil with your finger and feel for moisture... if its dry 4'' down... water dat bitch...

i really think so... i have had to trans a shitload because i start with like gallon and then to 3. and i might have to move it to a 4-5 before i flip the lights on friday. if you have let it dry out and have watered it again and its still droopy, def pot bound. not a big deal, just transplant it. its easy just watch some youtube videos, but the soil needs to be pretty much all the way dry, or else your soil will be too heavy and could give you some problems. hope this helps.

most def it was root boundthe pulled it out (used alittle force as it was still alittle moist) i pulled it from the stem gently rotated it almost thought i heard a tear so after i heard that i wasnt gonna risk yanking it so flipped it over and it came right out just as u said all the roots were at their sides looking for more room to grow good call i moved to a much bigger pot a 3 or 4 gallon will post pics tomorrow and any advice after transplanting she looks down after the procedure how can i make sure its alright

good man, good shit man. im happy for you. they should start looking better in the next couple days if you massage the outside of the root ball. it will probably start looking better in 24hrs. be careful next time, do it when its drier so you dont harm the rootball. if you get some superthrive, it would help with the transplant shock, and respond within a few hours or so.. looking great and healthy other than that brotha man!
