Weed can be grown anywhere man. You act as if denver is the only city in colorado and you also act like cali and denver are the only places that produce weed.
OP got the gas tank filled up yet? I can't see how the profit is gonna pay off well enough to justify a trip like this. Bet the prices are up in cali too, you should maybe find a hook up in denver, or kansas even.

yes it is possible to grow weed anywhere but in many areas it is difficult if not impossible pull it off due to law enforcement or situation. The very fact that you can sell good weed for $60 an 1/8 these day screams the fact that there isn't enough to meet demand so the more people there are with the resources and the courage to import weed fromt he west the better. If you don't have what it takes to do the job and get it done rght and safe then don't do it. I have the right stuff: I look the part and I have brass balls. My connections that fronted to me, quite growing or I'd still be making runs.

I have done this quite a bit from Texas. However, if you looked at me first glance most peoples first thought is retired military, conservative. The vehicle is a pick truck with construction equipment on it and a gangbox. You see hundreds of vehicles like that on the road. I take certain roads that I know will keep me away from the border and I NEVER EVER SMOKE IN ON OR NEAR THE VEHICLE. The weed is double sealed in the gangbox. I am also in my 40's and just have that ex military, "do not question me", look about me.
Although I personally have never been in the military I have a cover story ready for any one who asks about "my service". wh
Most importantly I have a GPS and CRUISE CONTROL, so I do not ever get lost and I NEVER speed. Most stupid moves while driving such as, running stop signs or swerving are made because people are lost. Last but not least travel only during the day stay in nice hotels and if you must smoke at night make sure you get a smoking room and light a cigarrette even if you don't smoke it. also put a towel under the door and shower after smoking in the morning and do not smoke near your clothes. Dogs can smell even a trace of drugs. So carry very little cash preferably new bills fresh from the bank. If you want to smuggle, and yes it is smuggling, from the west to the east it can be very profitable however, you must know what your doing or your DOOMED.

You sure are right about the profit to be made, my cali connect gets "outdoor" for $900 a lbs! They're outdoor is whats called "blue" in Ma and goes for 225 or if its real quality outdoor you can sell it as something fire for 325 a zip. For those at home without calculators thats a minimum profit of 170 on every ounce sold or abt 2 grand off of 1 lbs

Ever heard of the Krippies? that hasn't been around since the early 90's it was a nicely aclimated NL stran that did particularly well in greenhouse in north florida.

So my close buddy moved to Sacramento to go to college 2 years ago, I went to visit him last year and realized how cheap he was getting bud for. He wants to send me some via usps but Id rather take a road trip and go pick up around 10lbs. Im going to be traveling i80 through multiple states so if anybody knows what kind of trouble im looking at if caught up it be aopreciated if you could fill me in. Btw I come from a family of metal fabricators so I was planning on cutting a hole into the sheet metal in my trunk and stuffing that, weld it back up, then throw the carpet back over it.

I think hauling any amount across state lines is lunacy, these days. That said, the last time I received "imports" was in '76, in a spare tire. Had a friend working at a gas station, who broke the tire down to retrieve the contents.

I've driven from Cali to the East Coast three times in the past five years or so. I usually drove from around 11:00AM-11:00PM. Out of those three times i was pulled over twice within a ten minute span in Kansas for a tail light that was out. (I'm pretty sure the light went out during the venture) At the time of being pulled over I had a couple ounces in my trunk so inevitably I was totally freaked.

If a situation like that arises be extremely respectful to the cop and do your best to appear "cool" and not overly nervous. God only knows, If I were stoned at the time I would've been sweating bullets onto the registration when I had to hand it over. *shudders

Also, I was moving at the time so I had a ton of stuff packed in the car/trunk...bedding, computer stuff, etc. Having the car packed to the gills may have helped in detouring the cop from wanting to "search the car real quick" or perhaps not...I was respectful with him so he let me go...I was pulled over five-ten minutes later in the same township for the same tail light by a different cop (while I was trying to find a hotel to crash for the night) Luckily he was cool as well..found a hotel, got the light fixed the next day, and back on the road.

Rules of the road if your transporting an eighth or 50 lbs...

-Don't Speed
-Get your head and tail lights in order before you leave
-Don't smoke doobs in the car

follow those simple rules and you'll be fine...just don't give them a reason to pull you over. (though it'll be a white knuckle drive for a looong time)

Thanks for the firsthand advice man, im usually good with maintaining a cool composure when it comes to cops these days, got more experience with the law then I care to talk about gotta love the city life lol my biggest fear at this point isint gettin locked but finding a car that I can trust not to break down on me on my way home that could be a recipe for a disaster. What kind of vehicle did you take ?

Drive a car that is legit, check all the lights whenever you stop, look mainstream, and drive conservatively. Unless someone turned you in, there is no reason you should get pulled. If you DO get pulled, then you'd have a very good chance at challenging the legality of the stop. Oh, one other thing. Lay a retainer on an attorney before you go, just in case.

Just for the record, shipping it is fairly safe. I've done it from Florida to 1,500 miles north. Use large boxes and package them as you would for relocation to another state. You can even do this with USPS now, particularly due to the increased fees for airline luggage.

If you're transporting weight, never tell anyone the route you're taking, the car you're driving (my buddy who did lots of trips across Canada would always rent a car, it added cost, but no one ever knew what car he was driving if someone by some miracle of god found out where he was and what he was doing and snitched) and give sketchy dates for the time you are away. "I'm leaving on Thursday!" and then leave on Weds (something explainable though)...

Basically, be a ninja. You've already outlined the route you're taking and told us what kind of car you're driving... so yeah. You might want to revise those Also it's 4300 bucks profit on a lb @ 325 if you're paying 900 and it's quality (I'm guessing you pay more for quality, even if it's outdoors, though).

Oh, and don't smoke shit. Package properly and don't let it sit. If you package and let it sit for a long time and then go - you're gonna find the dogs will smell you! It eventually seeps through the pores in the bags, depends on the quality of packaging to say how long that is. The more layers of packaging the merrier, even though it's a gigantic pain in the ass. I hate vacuuming up large volume, it takes a long time, especially if you're trying not to get finger prints and shit all over everything and doing it properly... have to have a clean room etc. Don't smoke or carry anything not properly packaged for the entire trip. Anything that can tip off a dog means they can and will do a thorough search of the car.

If you need to relax at night have a drink or two.

I agree 100%. Huge volume is shipped all over Canada all the time. When I lived in the boonies I'd order my buds online - never had a failed delivery. Did it for years. Usually a 1/4-1/2lb at a time. I've heard of people doing a lot more than that (regularly).
