1200 watt scrog grow bud out of control HELP PLEASE!!!

hello there need a bit of advise please!! lol ive currently got 10 plants (skunk no1) in soil and there under 2 large 600watt adjusta wings with super spreader on im 3 weeks into flower now and im doing the scrog method its all going great so far but now ive hit a bit of a problem,

now i know i put to many plants in the space i have and now whats happend is that the bud sites are to close together and the branches at the bottom are not getting enough light, the buds at the top of the net are looking great but im wondering what i should do with the lower branches ive heard of people using small energy saving bulbs in the middle of the scrog for a bit of side lighting but would that make much of a difernce if i used say for example six 50watt energy saving bulbs in the middle of the scrog?

you could do that, trim all the lower leaves and bud to concentrate on the tops, or let tops finish then wait for lower branches to bulk up now that they have lots of light then harvest them.

I am in a similar situation, ... the problem with my setup is that I cannot move a thing ,.. and I cannot access a thing!! So I am not goin to bother cleaning under the canopy (next to impossible) ... Instead now I stopped trainning them under the screen and they are about 6 inches above and they keep growing right now... I will probalby just leave my LED supplemental light at the screen level... and I guess I might add another one later... I ll make H with the shitty buds below the screen... I think the key with such a crowded environment is airflow, you wants lots of it, keep em dancing ... Anyway if you have problem because it's too crowded, I probably will! my area is smaller though good luck

ok,ask yourself what would be more practical at this point.Do you really want to do a lot of trimming?Or just put the small lights in your grow?And yes every light counts,as long as you have properly illuminated the plant in other words make sure your lights are close enough for good coverage but not to close that it hurts the plant and gives heat stress.Endur is right on about the air flow make plenty of it.

You may get a pound,But it seems more likely you could end up with a little bit less than. Nice looking grow though.

i think what the OP said above is a good idea. just let the tops finish, harvest only them and let the rest continue to grow until done.

my guess 3 lbs but its pretty hard to judge, looks like you still got 5-6 weeks left in flower them main colas will be monsters with them lights.

you can also use CFL (energy saving bulbs) but i wouldnt go 50 watt as they get pretty hot above 26w (i know cuz i have some 26w ones myself and they will burn you if you leave your hand directly on the bulb too long. not sure how close to or where you plan on putting these bulbs.

i would go looking around at some SCROG journals and see what the other guys are doing and ask questions right in thier journal, most members are happy to answer you just dont post pics in ppls journal unless you ask first or they state that its alright. but you can always just post the link to this thread and they can navigate themselvs.

less than a pound off 10 plants in that setup, you must be high

For your next grow be sure to look into "lollipopping". Nice job though, if too many buds is your biggest problem, youre doing good. keep it up and good luck

is he refering to the branches under the screen? im not sure he may be. if you are refering to the branched under the screen, just cut them off, anything that wont fit into the screen. if you want to save them clone em up and put a couple clones to a pot under your lights and let them grow without the screen.

im no pro so dont listen to my advise, this is just what i would do

by the time top buds are done there will very little bottom leafs to worry about letting the bottom ones grow out the leafs would of yellowed and dryed up to the point its not worth it so now your trying to work on top buds thats your source of yield takes alot of buds to make a pound but from what i can see you could get anywhere from 3/4 to 2 pounds only time will tell i guess

yes he is still pretty far from the end and it is definatly hard to tell at this stage, but i think with his setup if he does it right he can get some pretty big ass buds. just make sure you giving her as much nutes as you can without hurting the plant obviously. when they get to the final few weeks of flower they drink up them nutes and looooooove em.

Dude you have the best problem there is TO MANY BUDS!!!!! dont worry about it if i was you i would trim some fan leaves from the top buds so you get good light all the way to the screen just dont do to much at once that will help you buds be solid instead of popcorn. but either way you got a grip
