Super top of the line stuff(super dense cured) going for 3-3400 in the past 12 months.
Right now its 3k flat with it being the flood season.
you guys trying to get 225 must have your work cut out for you.

Unless you have a ton of plants, it's not very hard work. However, there is some cost involved, and SOME work.
I personally can gain free meds and a small profit at $125 per oz for my "overages". At 200+ per oz it's pretty easy money...

Nine months in never had overages. All collectives are shut down in TC. police raided them last week because they were buying and selling to people other than their patients.

Bills? define bills, are you trying to grow your own or make some coin? i do grow my own but don't make coin, I do know how much time, trouble and costs go into growing this "medicine" . You wanna pay all your bills with your grow? personally I work a "fulltime" job (worked 14 hours last week) but I'm not looking to pay my bills with my own personal grow, which it should be, personal. Profit all you want, I got a day job, don't be suprised when you're flashbanged though.
It's pretty easy work until problems happen. I've spent entire weeks manually flushing nutelocked superacid soil, huge amounts of time fighting various pests that have wreaked havoc (yay organic soil!...not).
I think it's smartest to just sign up patients as a caregiver. With the dispensaries shut down, all those customers are probably looking for caregivers.

Wow you're just a super hero aren't you. What an angel. I'd like to see a garden that only requires some work. I'm sure it's a real quality grow......whacha got, some cfl's in a little closet? It's a full time job for people that know shit about growing. Are you a "party cup" grower, maybe in the big "400 watt grow", maybe even the "600" watt grow. Ugh.

Actually I've got 2, 600 watt hps, with 6, 100 watt led's for side lighting, and another 150 watts of uvb the last few weeks of flower. Then there's the humidifier, de humidifier, air conditioning, and the co2 equipment. Plenty of stuff for the 12 plants I'm allowed. I grow organic, in soil that I mix, and I do have to remember to water them...
Yea, building the room and dialing it in was some work, but maintaining a perpetual grow with 12 plants? Childs play. An afternoon a couple times a year to mix soil, A few minutes to re pot occasionally, and the dreaded full day of harvesting every couple months....that's not much work....
I've found that people that know a little about growing just do it right the first time....and those that claim it's lots of work, are usually battling the problems they create through their ignorance.
Quality? well, flowering 6 at a time under 1800 watts(not counting uvb) in a roots organic soil base amended with bat guano, sea bird guano, kelp meal, humic acid, azomite, lots of worm castings and a little molasses towards the end, in a temperature controlled room that runs 77 degrees lights on and 72 degrees lights off, with 1200 ppm co2 during lights on..it's a pretty productive environment.
This plant grows in the wild, with no help from us. Given good light, good soil and good temp, humidity and co2 control, it grows itself..so long as you remember to water. Oh, and raise the lights occasionally.

I agree. I've seen many a "care giver" with tons of light and a "nutrient program" churn out junk. They have heat issues, humidity problems, bugs and nasty tasting finished product.
If you're gonna go big..go big....control the environment. Get temps and humidity stable. Augment with co2. If you set the room up right..it's not much work, except at harvest time.

Isn't the argument about the amount of work that goes into a big grow? 600w or 1000w, I take offense to anyone that says that operating a decent size grow is a part time gig. It is a full time job, and will be compensated full time money! Donation, buy-in, reimbursement, what-ever you want the attorneys to call it, anyone that complains to me can grow their own.

A couple hours a day is more then enough time to take care of a large grow set up.
The grow should all but take care of itself if it's done right.
Newbe's and people trying to justify high prices for the patients are the only ones that claim it's more then a part time gig.

You get out what you put in. A couple hours a day my ass. I spend more than that just researching and reading up on shit. Many patients are more than happy to buy from serious growers of high grade product. Growing marijuana is not a full-time job, but growing high-grade top-shelf meds and dealing with patients and dispensaries and hydroponic stores, etc, etc is ab-sa-fucking-lutely over 40 hours a week!!!
For those that only put in a few hours a day, you wouldn't understand.

I tend to agree...the people claiming it's that much work, must be over engineering the thing. Investment in equipment? YES. Electricity bills? YES. Hard Work? not so much...
On a side note..most of the truly "top shelf" meds I've smoked, has come from smaller grows. I'm small, but I'm a serious grower. By girls get babied all the way through. But it really doesn't take much time or hard work. More patience and attention.
And yes, anyone growing good meds should get some value for their efforts. But with so many people growing these days, the value of an oz just isn't what it used to be.
I'd happily take $150 an oz from a dispensary..and I'd supply them a top notch Sativa...problem is, no dispensaries in West Michigan are buying. Heck, I'd take $125.
Of course, I grow for myself. My overages are just that..overages. My goal is just to break even and get free meds. If I counted on my grows for income, my views may be different.

I dont know, however long it takes to harvest 14,000 watts worth of plants every 56 days......... A few, I'd guess. Not sure what your after though, as this doesnt relate at all to the topic at hand.
