I might actually do the rubbermaid setup with ScroG, but I have some questions.

-How bad is the smell in the rubbermaid setup? Had to add any carbon filters?
-Does the top tub (with the lights) get super hot at all? I would be keeping it in my closet and I wouldn't want it to light shit on fire

-The smell is not bad yet that is at all but there is a pvc pipe for air to flow out and you may want to put a carbon scrubber on the end to kill any smell.

-It shouldnt get too hot, i had temps from 79-86 and they are doing very well. I am running 6-cfl's with no issues. Best thing to do is get a 35 gallon rubbermaid box to insure proper heat and grow issues. I have a 26 gallon for now.

-I keep a smoke alarm in my closet and dont really worry becouse the bulbs do not get that hot IMO...

Well at this point since flowering i took the lower tub and removed it, put a milk carton underneath the plants to sit on and hooked up 2 chains to the top of the upper half of the rubbermaid box wherre the lights are and just raise them as they grow, so far they love it. The CFL's are working lovely. All of the plants were topped before i put them into flowering. Here are some updated pics after about 3 1/2 weels of flowering... Enjoy... I will keep this journal updated best i can.

Have you been keeping them on 24hr light before you started to flower them? And are you using 4 day and 2 soft now? How long did you wait before you started to flower?

I had them on 18/6 for about 1 month then started flowering 12/12. There are 3 day and 3 soft bulbs now. In the veg. stage there were 4 day and 2 soft. I am thinking of removing the 3 day now and putting 3 soft and adding a 225 red bulb LED lighting to the mix to see the effect soon. I will also update pics in a few days on the progress~ Thanks for posting.

hey justa suggestion, maybe some uv reptile bulbs mixed in with your cfls? just a thought, I know an oldtimer who always uses a load of reptile bulbs with his grows...you should see the trichs on em...chek this outtt...
