Clotheslines RULE. Nothing better than drying your sheets outside, IMHO. Wish my weather allowed me to have one year round!!

Every time you dry clothes you have to empty the lint trap- they would have you believing that this is trash and that it's normal to throw it away but it is really your clothes your throwing away little by little- the dryer is taking part of your clothes that you worked for and payed for, and if it's your dryer your paying for the power your dryer uses to turn your clothes into lint and if your using a coin operated dryer at a laundry mat your putting quarter after quarter into the machine-
If you think you own a dryer you will soon realize the dryer owns you

Don't be so sure of that-
Think about it.
Your dryer is your master- and this is part of the master plan.
If you have some dude yelling at you and whipping you and taking what you worked all day to produce and leaving you only a small share- you would get mad and you would know who to get mad at and you might rebel
But a dryer is smarter and more subtle- You seek it out you accept and embrace it- you happily give it it's share of your income- a portion of the fruits of your labor and it steadily turns your clothes to lint and takes your quarters or uses your energy- all while forcing you to buy more clothes to replace the ones it has destroyed- forcing you to work harder and longer to be able to afford to keep the dryer running and full of the clothes that you need to be able to keep the job you need in order to earn money for your dryer

i use the lady downstairs's dryer. in return i throw washes in my machine for her.
i don't like hanging my clothes outside because my neighborhood has a gross smell and a shit ton of birds. plus the dryer gets the cat hair off and gets the wrinkles out. can't hang shit in the winter anyway because it just freezes.

i shit you not i once found 3 remotes in my aunt's couch. she just keeps getting new ones when she loses one. she goes through at least 5 a year. i'm not kidding. i've programmed more than half of them.

Everyone seems to lose socks in the dryer, I think that is why I get the feeling mine is particularly evil.
