I murdered several accidentally on the move. Your branch may grow up to be badass though you never know!

just knocked a branch off the jade (a fairly sizeable fork, too - one with 6 "leaves", the other 10 or so)...... can i "clone" it or something? i'm gonna try anyways - should i or shouldn't i use a rooting hormone?
i'll take a pic once i finish with the inconsolable sobbing. ()

Hey kitty, have no fear. Jade loves standard or moderately arid soil, and roots easier than a cactus. Let the broken branch sit for a day on the shelf, then remove the bottom most leaves (if applicable) and submerge in wet soil. If the bottom aeroles (nodes) are already void of leaves, don't fret, and plant anyway. For BEST results, plant down far enough for one leaf to be nearly submerged in soil. Not only will the stalk root, but a new plant will grow from that aerole (node). It will be fine, jade propagates by dropping branches and or leaves![]()
i suspect it was shedding this branch -- i just looked at the branch it came off of and it's totally healed already.
all done!

a challenge? srsly........okay, but you might as well challenge a complete noob to a party cup comp......![]()
Awww, it's so koot and wittle!!!!
I thought you were talking about a BRANCH!! Lol, I had to repot a 14'' section of mine a few days ago, that's just a iddy biddy bay bee!!!![]()
btw, just noticed.... That dirt isn't wet enough... soak it, and set it in a shady partial sun window. It'll start growing new leaves in (let me consult my turban).....
8 days!
i'm obviously still not grasping the whole wet/dry thing......
the lofty goal (from aforementioned nursery)
