I always thought flag burning was funny considering it is one of the few acceptable ways to dispose of a flag.

Flag burning never really bothered me at all... its the people burning that gets me hyped ....WTF
I too as a scout have burnt flags.... But there is a difference between that of burning OUR flag to lay it to rest and that of breaking into City Hall and burning it, shitting on it or what ever for the media hype!
Yes you have your rights and I support those rights, but WHY would one shit on the symbol of those rights just to get make some point? After all.... It's not the nation or flag that makes the choices for all 300+ million of us; it's the politicians!
But then again if my "printed" shooting target of choice is BHO I am a homeland terrorist, but be it "Sarah Palin" or "John Boehner" I am just exercising my rights!

made it to life scout. think i had about 6 merit badges to go (and of course, the eagle project).
might have made it to eagle if not for moving across the country and switching from an awesome troop to an uber-lame one. that kinda soured me.

As a troop yes.... Eagle Scout NO, but I made it to Star.... Right or wrong, I found cars, girls and well weed more interesting!
