the temp goes up to about 90 if i dont keep the door open in my tent , is ok to keep door open or iam losen to much light ?

would take the temp as priority over the lumens lost.. get and inlet/outlet fans on the tent, even a couple computer fans can be quiet and useful pending on your size tent

90 is too hot dude shouldnt be more than 80 and optimally like 68-75, sick overheated eventually dropping and then dead lady you'll wind up with.. Light and temperature setup is my first two concerns when starting a setup

Don't know the specs on your tent, but it sounds like you need to get some air exchange going. Stick an inline fan into one of the sleeves, blowing out, and make sure there's some path for passive intake. That's a minimum - it would be easier to help if you put up some more info, or pics. If you have a temp problem, you need better ventilation. Fan capacity is measured in Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). My rule is to exchange all the air in the tent at least once every 5 minutes. So, your tent is 10X10X8, or 800 cubic feet. A very common, cheap 6" inline fan is about $30 and moves 240cfm. If you had one of those blowing in, and balanced it with one blowing out, you would be replacing all the air in your tent once every three minutes. Unless the ambient temperatures are very hot (say, above 80 degrees), your tent should be OK. Is your light in a cool tube? If so, make sure the airflow for the tube is outside-to-outside to completely eliminate it as a heat source. I'm in Florida, and my tents are in a non-air conditioned garage, and this setup keeps them cool. Your situation may vary, and others here on RIU may have different ideas. I'm just sharing what works for me. Peace!

Air intake should be passive. You need an inline fan sucking the hot air out, ideally through a cool tube on your light.
