is this a sign of preflowering? ive been flwering for about 8 days, does this show anything on the sex of the plant, or anything good?

If you can get a closer up picture of the internodes online you might be able to determine which sex it is. I'd hate to burst your bubble but the growth does look like it's heading male. Start lookin for footballs. If you see pistils or what I describe to be silvery white wisps (which are commonly referred to as hairs, whether red or white or whatever) coming out of the internode you got a female. Hopefully I was able to help you out. By the way, if it's been flowering for eight days, how do you know they're flowers but not know which sex?

Low THC production close to none. Full of seeds, but the seeds will possibly be ladies

If one is indefinantely male you need to chop it or atleast get it away from your female plant if your trying to get bud man

The first pic is a developing male preflower... U should cull it, like a week ago... I dunno on pic #2... Get a pic of the underside, where preflowers show at the higher nodes... U can't tell from a top shot, as preflowers dont show up at the top of the plant, unless u have it on flowering cycle, and then, if u have any on top, they r just normal flowers... And yes, by all means, go buy Ed Rosenthal's Marijuana Grower's Handbook TODAY and read it all, and then do it again.....

well is there a way to separate them apart, the male and females? cut the space in half with a trash bag or something like that?

I had the same problem haha. I just wanted to keep the male alive for shits and giggles, but it proved to be a waste and I chopped it. Once the male produces ball sacks, they will eventually split and the pollen goes out into the air, if you're in a cab - cut it. It's a male and 90% of people that grow just want some free weed. If you're in an environment where it's okay for you to grow, put it somewhere else, simple as that

I donno bout the light you got goin' on, any type of light will work, some way better than others.. just make sure you don't burn it up! Put your hand under there for several seconds at different heights and choose how high the light needs to be from your plant sir

thanks a ton, i got rid of my male plant, sadly, it was a chronic strain, but i got my female reggie and shes coming along just nice. alright starting to smell yum.

Congratz looks like a boy. If you get anything that looks like it has little balls about too grow. CHOP it down ASAP! you dont want a bunch of seeds in your bud unless that is your intention. You want to see white pistles or little white hairs... nothing like a great bush to look at

Get some pics up of the lady man! I love when I'm sittin' in my room and a get a slight scent of my plant haha. It's a good thing to wake up to lol
