Maybe her dad should have been a judge and maybe she should have been cop-wannabe with a history of physical violence. That way it never would have gone to trial... unless someone started raising Hell about it.

This shouldn't have anything to do with "stand your ground." If property rights were respected, you would be allowed to discharge your legal weapon on your property as long as it didn't cause harm to anybody else.

Her husband is a dumb ass for beating her, but even more of a dumb ass for his arrogance. If she gets free and I were her, I'd hit myself with a toaster, call the cops and use every dumb thing he keeps saying to the police and media against him.
