in Iran you can carry up to 15g legally

in Pakistan certain religious groups are legally allowed to possess and use in public

in Peru you can carry up to 8g legally

certain states in India allow for it and make it a states rights issue. not federal.

canada allows you to possess and grow with a license

i heard argentina, mexico, and a few other central and south american countries have passed laws recently that allow for possession of small amounts

what if you live in 1 country but but grow in another?

plus, what's the difference between "decriminalized" and "legal"? if it is decriminalized to have 5 plants or possess so many grams then isn't that basically legal? i understand the cops can take it from you but their not coming to you house and breaking in the doors for 5 plants.
In certain legal/judicial circumstances, esp. when the drugs are an aggravating component in the prosecution of a related* charge, the difference becomes quite very acute. cn

* with "related" being determined entirely by the horsepower of the prosecuting team, which can be considerable.

if a country has a law that says the cultivation of 10 plants or posession of 250g is decriminalized, then what trouble are you going to get in for having 5 plants in your house?

that doesn't make any sense. alcohol is legal to produce and consume. but you can't use it however you want either.
those are all perfect examples of it being LEGAL there
Ok, you're wrong on both fronts. Alcohol is NOT fully egal. It was prohibited (completely) for a decade and was decriminalized. Can your 4 year old go out and buy you a bottle of gin? Then it's not fully legal. I'm not going to argue with you anymore. I can see that you won't listen to reason (or someone who is correct for that matter) so this is futile. Have fun spreading misinformation..............oh, and welcome to the forum.

what a jackass...you're 4 year old can't drive a car either but that doesn't mean it's illegal. just means there are age restrictions just like with voting, having a bank account, and drinking. can you go buy a 6 pack at the store? can you take it home and drink it? yes...there are rules that you have to abide by but there are also rules you have to abide by for almost any other legal activity. i can legally own a gun, doesn't mean i can walk around the streets with it loaded in my hands.

you are not an attorney for the WORLD nor do you have any clue about the laws of other countries. there are countries as it shows in the wikipedia page where it is legal federally for cultivation and posession or both. i can tell you this much...the country where i have my vacation home is 1000% legal federally to possess up to 250g in your residence and up to 10 flowering plants. do some research.

lol! I'm a jackass huh? Well, NEW GUY, I'm not an attorney for the world, but I understand the meaning of words. Can you brew as much beer as you want? No. Can you sell that beer without the blessing of the govt.? No. All the countries listed in Wiki are decriminalized or illegal. There are SERIOUS restrictions on growing/posessing cannabis in every country that you say it's "legal" in. If it were legal, I could grow as much as I wanted, carry as much as I wanted, and consume as much as I wanted. Neither you nor I can do that, therefore it is DECRIMINALIZED!!!!!:dunce:

Isn't semantics fun?:-P

that's not the difference between legal and decriminalized. if the federal government made it a states rights issue and then allowed places like california to make the decision for themselves would you still say it was decriminalized? no. if the state says i can grow 10 plants for myself i'm pretty sure i'd be cool with those limits.

just because something has restrictions doesn't mean that it's illiegal and just decriminalized. there are limits on many things that are legal.

and yes, you are the jackass. you got all butthurt just because i disagreed with you. aren't you a moderator here? jesus, go look at your post being all condesending and rude just because i pointed out that those countries do have legal laws allowing it. i didn't talk shit to you or try and be a dick. it was you dude. i asked questions and gave my opinion on the subject. you are the one who got all pissy about it. not my fault you are wrong.
