grow tents, are they worth it?

If you are going to fill those pipes with water. I would suggest at least schedule 80.
think i need that much psi though if the water is just going straight down to a ball valve... its pretty much nothing but fall for the water and i dont want to blast my plants away lol

Tents are worth it! I love my 4x8 tent and I paid $100 on Craigslist !

that is a good deal, but i like building random shit and this is right up my alley, maybe i can perfect it and sell my tents jk lol... i seen one guy on youtube selling broken computer towers with some light bulbs in it for 150 dollars. thats crazy, but i think itd be pretty easy

I like them small etc. Cabinet I have seen on youtube .. made stealth ..

maybe find one that are 5x3 feet .. to fit my T5HO tubes ..

if I ever schould down scale or had a urge to build stuff ..

and maybe wanted a small veg/starting room or a place to fool around with some autos I would build that .. the DIY way with cheap bathroom fans and cooker carbon filters and stuff I could get cheap from "walmart"

I bet with the right TLC and some effort .. maybe DWG ? you could get some nice result .. if your only looking for some nice cheap smoke for yourself ..

if I had the cabinet I bet I could get the rest (also T5 lights if I needed) from my local building center/"wallmart"
for maybe 100-200$ or so .. then another 100$ for pots .. nutriens and stuff at the garden center ..

could easily make sumthing nobody would notice .. that made littel heat .. and used littel power and no smell for littel money .. only auto seeds would cost a bit .. but I reccon it would be possible to pull a oz or two of each auto in a carbint with a 6 tube T5HO and with 2-4 plants and a haverst evry seccon month I reccon it will cover my needs ...

well .. no expert .. but just a idea I play with .. I would mostlikely use it for a veg room before I put em in to my flowering room .. but if I get tired of it I might keep the samll carbint for a low effort autos grow ..

No you won't need sched 80 for psi but the wall thickness will reduce the pipe from bending so much and depending on your water supply, it will help reduce the pipe from kicking when you open up the water valve.

thanks for the advice man, i dont need my grow collapsing when the water comes on lol.

i ran a room without tent and and had a harder time keeping a humid enviriment pluss the heat really stuck to the walls if you know what i mean,it was concrete and held the heat much longer, tents cool down in a blink,il never go back to a room buts thats just me,i love my tent, tried homebox for a while but it isnt light proof and kinda poor quality, secret jardins the shit:-)

The only secret jardin I looked at seemed to have a flimsy roof support. I don't think it would safely support the lights, fans, and filter I use.

If you live in a nice, safe location, and don't plan on moving anytime soon, you should build a grow room. (with wood, and insulation, not PVC and mylar).

If you live in an apartment, or see yourself moving in the near future, a grow tent is worth the investment.

I found this out the hard way after moving a bunch of times and constantly scrapping my constructed grow rooms. Wasted a lot of materials before biting the bullet and purchasing a tent that can be broken down, stored, and moved from place to place.

im moving very soon thats where im gonna be setting up, i think i am gonna just frame out something then still keep the pvc idea for watering because the lights i could hang em off a beam but i have a better idea in mind thatll be a little easier

My 4x4 worked quite well. I only suspended the light&hood. The fan and filter were floorsitters. cn
