does any one have any experiance with guruseeds.com?

i'd never order from a place like this, and let me tell you why..
they seem to list names of very popular strains, for example i found sour cream, which is made by dna, yet they don't mention dna in the description, and what they say are the parents are not the parents for real sour cream.. it seems to me that this place likes to take popular names and put w/e genetics they want together to make that cross.. never a really good idea ime..
when co's do this, it sends up big red flags to me.. if they don't list a breeder for their gear, more then likely they are cheap knockoff's at best, and bag seed at worst..
there are plenty of legitimate seed banks out there to get gear from so you don't have to waste your time and money on places like this.. i have used all of the following and always get what i paid for.. in nor particular order..

nah, i'm not a huge nirvana fan for the most part m8, their gear seems to be kind of hit or miss ime..
they do have some nice strains, and those two look to be two winners imo.. :)
 
I ordered Guru Seeds from Medical Seed Bank. It has been less than a desireable experience. Payment was processed the day after order placement. It has been over 3 weeks without receipt of the order though the information provided states orders will generally be filled within 2 days of payment and should then be received in 5 to 10 days. I have had only one reply to inquiries about the status of the order after 2 weeks when about to cancel payment. I was promised shipment had occured and to contact them if not received by 3 days ago. Can't get a reply from them. The Guru Seed and Medical Seed Bank websites are stuctured and function basically the same. They also have the same terms, shipping info., and etc. I have also thrice inquired with Guru Seeds through that web site whether the seed bank is a bank for them with no reply. This is a disappointing first try at ordering seeds with an urgent need for a sick family member.

i ordered mass seeds 3 weeks ago and i live in canada as well,,,,no delivery and definatly no e-mail responses,,,,no customer support at all,no number to call,,,no address to go to and thank him for taking my money,,,,i did pay by visa and i will see if i can get my money back,,,,,,if not i will continue to write bad reviews and run his name into the ground,,,,,scammers need beatings,,,,thats how they learn,,,,any questions i will answer,,,,,,ow and by the way i am a licensed growerer,,,,and i do realize its only been a few weeks,but no mail takes that long to be delivered in canada,,,,and him ignoring my e-mail makes me very uneasy.

thanks a bunch for that list. i myself always use single seed centre. i've always had great success with them. one time a seed was damaged but no big deal, my fault for not contacting them right away like their policy says. i always get more than 1 anyway. i know they're legit cause i've grown so many strains from them and they turned out just like the picture and description on the breeder's websites. i have friends that also order from nirvana and attitude with no problems. i highly recommend everyone try something by tga subcool. they seem superior to me. no fem but i like reg better anyway.

you guys just may have saved my friend about $80. he just gave me money the other day to order from guru seeds. i was kinda skeptical because no one i know or myself has heard of them so i did some research. to me guru seeds website just seemed to have too simple of a layout to be professional, it just didnt look right. all these other site seem a bit more fancy. then just on google i seen some bad reviews on forums about them. i was thinking maybe i'll tell my friend i seen some bad stuff on the net, i can get them for you but if they fuck me, i cant get the money back cause im not going thru the hassle with the bank. then i thought shit if they are a scam what if they charge my credit card in the future or do something fraudulent with it? i mean fuck beenverified.com charged me like $70 for no reason a year AFTER i cancelled. i called and they said it was mistake they made. i thought LOL how convenient of a mistake for ppl that dont check their credit card statements. these assholes even were advertised on tv. so now im thinking of telling my friend no and if he dont liek it he can get his own credit card. now after seeing this post im gonna tell him i highly recommend staying away from guru unless he wants to take a very high risk of getting fucked.

let us know if u get them. i seen a couple old posts of people actually getting them. u should have got them though by now though cause they say north america 2-3 weeks. i seen one person said he had a northern lights from them growing like a sativa. i seen some seed review site that said they were good but looks to me like bullshit trying to cover and make them look good. i could be wrong though. in fact i hope i am wrong and you get your shit and its good. sorry about your misfortune otherwise bro. i hate scammers as well. yes, they do need to be beaten but unfortunately it's often not worth the consequence unless your 100% sure your going to get away. believe me i wish i could do worse than just beat scammers. i would love to hunt any scammers down free of charge just for fun but i'd be too scared of getting caught. karma is a bitch and will get them. it usually does.
 
A few years ago i made a small cart with guru. then cancelled.. then got I GOT A e-mail asking me why i CANCELLED... A RED FLAG . SO I NEVER ORDERED FROM THEM .. i always like the smaller companies... then I small a Bean Boyz Genetics. see the site.. THEY ARE THE REAL DEAL. NO BULL SHIT I WONT USE ANBODY ELSE BECAUSE JUST LOOK AT THE SEED BANK REVIEWS THERE ARE COMPLAINTS WITH MOST OFF THEM BEAN BOYZ HAVE 0 COMPLAINTS AND BEST OF ALL ALL UNIQUE STRAINS. THAT WILL SMOKE YOUR SOCKS OFF ..HANDS DOWN. IF YOU GET BURNT. THEN YOU HAVE NOT PURCHSED FROM BEAN BOYZ.. dano

i've come to the conclusion that why the fuck would anyone trust these no name companies. even if they were legit their shit is going to be no better than what you get at nirvana or single seed centre. even if your saving a few dollars so what, why the fuck risk it. besides the big breeders especially ones like tga subcool produce very stable genetics. why would you want to risk some small company that does shit on an amateur level and just sells you the seeds from the buds they smoke? they probably are not breeding properly. you need rooms full of males and females to select the most superior. not just some little op in a garage or basement.
 
Yes exactly, I'm not trying to save money .Big is not always better. I have purchased seeds from the biggies only to get some free ones that are not viable. Some looked totally different that were in the same pkg., Phenos...like I said there are issues with all seed banks.Do you think the genes are the same years from say, a Jack Herer or a Skunk 1. Doubt it. As far as breeding properly. That is why I have more faith with Bean Boyz Genetics than I did originally, because I read his many writings and tutorials on BBG's site,obviously you did not.. Battz has personal ties with TGA SUBCOOL. As well as others

no, no seeds have the same genes. in fact even clones have a very slight different genetic code. however all these seeds of the same strain are usually very close to each other. the reason why they look different in the same package is probably because the seeds are at a different maturity level. it's always best to get several seeds of the same strain. the more, the better yoru chances of getting a better pheno. thats cool about bean boyz. i will have to check them out. i never did any reading on them. always good to be skeptical though. not worth getting fucked. also on the net you have to be very careful of fake/paid reviews. i've done a little breeding myself. actually my friends were very impressed with it. but it was on a small amateur scale and i wasnt satisfied because i need more room and some of my shit started to hermy. damn fem seeds sometimes. kinda fun though. i crossed super lemon haze with la condifential. another time i crossed this dwarf purple kush from a private breeder with a la confidential. i just recently crossed some chernobyl with some mazar kush. the mazar kush was from a female that hermied so i dont think the genetics will be stable. im going to try one out though.
 
Pizzapuffer, thanks for the nice letter. I was not clear when I described the seed differences. Should of said strain,anyway the ''plants'' looked totally different from each other. Which is what I saw at my friends grow. From SENSI seed Bank. Over a year ago I read in a High Times or S kunk mag. that one writer did a road test of a few top seed banks. I was pretty surprised of the ill findings from sensi seeds. I always wanted to try them. but I thought they wre pricey. The writer purchased 10 seeds from several banks and he used the same method in each I'm not sure what strain it was but out of 10 only 2 looked similar and 4 or 5 were all unique to each other .and no definite finding of actually which plant he ordered and he said 2 alike meant zilch.
