It's your choice to live without guns, just like it's your choice to live with guns.

I personally could give a rats flying ass about guns. I don't need them or want them. I've been able to live 25+ years without EVER having a gun in my face (and I used to tweak in ghettos a few years ago lol and still nothing). The trick is to put yourself in situations where you don't need one or won't come across one. That fucking simple.

An incident like the recent ones going on? Will always happen; and if more people had guns that wouldn't stop it either. But to say everyone can't have one because of a few bad apples? fuck that.. I've always hated being treated like a kid.

How about the fact liberals don't want anyone doing as they please without having a damn tax behind it.
Hell, if it were left up to liberals, we'd never get to use and enjoy a single square foot of American soil without the supervision of a politically correct, eco fucking friendly tour guide.

You dont see these assholes trying to shoot up a police station. Even the Ft. Hood shooter knew that nobody but the MP's would be armed. Nut cases rarely attack hardened targets.

To answer your first statement, yes, if everyone limited themselves to less than 20 carbs a day, EVERY single person that did would have no choice but to lose weight until they hit their optimum body weight. It's not theory, it's simple human physiology. It puts you into a state of ketosis, your system doesn't even look to the food you intake for energy, it single-mindedly taps your stored fat as it's fuel. Once you hit your target weight, you can then add carbs until you find the daily limit for yourself that keeps you at that weight. Anyone who went on one of the strict low carb diets (Atkins, South Beach, etc) and says it didn't work for them is either lying about even trying it, or they didn't adhere to the guidelines thinking it was ok to occasionally cheat like they have on other diets.

As to the study that discounts activity levels as the cause of increased obesity, I'd use it to wipe my ass before giving it any credibility. The fact the populace started fattening up in the 70's seems to perfectly illustrate the connection of decreased activity and obesity.

You think it is the president who grants you rights? They aren't rights if someone can give them to you, they are privileges.

Police: Sir, we've come for your firearms

Civilian: I've already told you guys, I gave my weapons to the officers that came an hour ago / We were raided last night and they took all of our things including our weapons / Uhh, I seem to have misplaced my guns ;)
