Is my plants ready to flower? Opinions please.

Given the grow space and plant stats:

4 plant Grow space 41x22x38 inches (length x width x height)

Plants
-5 and a half weeks old
-11&12 inches tall

Given height alone...what do u guys think?
 
looks like you got a little while yet.
Is that a spider or what hanging off your lampshade, just to the left of the naked bulb.
 
I would probably tie the tops down until it got to about 18", then flower.

Or just flower at around 18" in that space.
 
lol, its the tip of some organic string.

I heard plants double or sometimes triple in size when put through flowering...given the room height, its freakin me out.
 
dude flower it now, the plants gonna get a lot bigger, id bet...don't freak out, they look healthy
 
If you are using cfl's as i think u are then i say start 12/12 now but if u are using HID lighting then you can wait another 1 to 3 1/2 more weeks.
Reason why i say this is because cfls wont be able to penetrate well enough,which will leave you will alot of small buds.
 
I'd flip them. You have enough nodes and with your height you have to grow in I'd do it very soon. Since your not lst'ing or such they will grow taller when flipped, leaving you looking for height for growth. The earliest I'd say to flip to 12/12 would be 3 to 4 nodes.
 
flower now.. and keep the lights as close as you can. if they are too far the plants will reach for them in like a day.

bending and tying is also a good idea, but be very careful with the main stems, they can be easy to break.
 
Thanks to everyone, Im thinking of finish this week n going for it.

Im afraid of lst though since this is my first grow.

It's more like 50% - 100% growth. Smaller plant = smaller bud weight. At 18 inches (including pot and everything) you might end up with a 36" plant but you can keep it under control with LST. Don't be scared, just tie shit down if it gets too big. Just so ya know, if you train a top down lower than other nodes, the plant will think the other nodes are tops and start pushing them up. If you are going for 1 main cola, that's not really a good thing so be aware of that. However, if you tie the top down and let it veg for couple weeks longer, you will have like 4 - 8 tops instead of just one, and you can train them as needed so all the tops are roughly equal and receive the same amount of light.

But honestly for first grow I'd probably just veg another 1 - 2 weeks then flower and be done with it. Get fancy next grow.

OK, LOL. I just saw that brown in the pic, bad place for spider, and also bad color for spider :)
BTW, when you say 11=12", I can't tell for sure, but it looks like you're counting the pot too?? If you did, that's fugdin'! If you didn't, my apologies :)
