I'm running a 2 x 6 x 5 tent with a 400w and 600w cooltube with no problems with temps. 4" Fan pulling it all through filter and tubes.
Tents are a piece of crap? I think not.
Haha! I'd rather have a room than a tent ryan1918, don't get me wrong.
But tents are great if you have to give up some bedroom for a grow, especially for blackout...
i got two tents, a 3x3x6 and a 6x6x6. the best thing ive found about them, and the only single reason a bought either of them is because i rent and i tend to move around alot. fuk setting up a dedicated room, inlets, outlets, hooks, and then having to fix/patch it all up when i move. the tent has all shit and the tent is already good to go in 30min from flat. if i owned my home, then yep, no questions asked, it'd be a dedicated room but unfortunately i dont
you can build your own tent for a fraction of the price all you need is 2x3's and panda film ( black and white polly ) thats what I did. jorge cervantes builds one on one of his grow films you can watch it right on youtube. sure tents are convinient and take no thought but there way over priced you can build an 8x8 room for less than $100 bucks jorge's way. while at htgsupply.com it costs $499.95 for a 10x10 grow tent alone then you need to buy all your equipment. sure if you have no skills and plenty of money a tent is the way to go but its just so simple and cheap to build your own why spend hundreds of dollars.
Yup, that'll do the job, depending on the temps of the room it's in (If your room's 84degrees then that's the lowest your tent can get, without air conditioning)
I have a 400w 5" cool tube and another 600w both in 2 x 6 x 6ft tent with one fan for them and a filter, although this is probably pushing it, but temps are great.
