hairs are not an indicator of ripeness. i have some strains that have red hairs at day 28.

Red hairs alone are not what you are looking for. They should appear to be receded into the bud, and the trichs shoul all be cloudy, not clear. If THEY start to turn red, harvest. That's when the thc begins to degrade

my plant is showing red hairs that are showing around up to 50%, still it isnt ready yet. I want it to be fatter abit more.
