I feel like both conservative and liberals have the same mental disease and are far more likely to have been abused or victimized and that they are in denial of that abuse which they have tucked away somewhere, because of their inconsistent conclusions on moral rules and lack of methodology in coming to their own conclusions they draw from conclusions of an ideology and work their way backwards or don't work their way at all, I feel that conservatism and modern liberalism or authoritarianism is a learned behaviour brought about by a lifetime of propaganda and state indoctrination which includes but is not limited to abuse and authentic victimization.

So for example we learn that its okay for there to be exceptions to moral principals at a young age either through the state or through our parents but the truth is that for an ethical theory to be valid it must be universal or unbiased or its invalid just like in scientific theory. Example, Stealing is wrong FOR EVERYONE, so its a valid ethical theory because it is universal, so stealing is wrong if I am the IRS or If I am your neighbour, just because I put on a fancy tuxedo I am not allowed to steal. If I proclaim that my stealing is morally justified because its "FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF EVERYONE!" then I am still a thief.


so I would suggest to have a study if liberals have a mental disease because I believe due to empirical evidence that they have this disease as well. In fact I believe that 95% of society has this problem and I struggled with this as well, its because of the way that we are brought up as children.
