Mine was cashed the 26th. Now you got me anxious! Not to worry though. My meds will still be very recreational!
another abuse of the system intended for chronic medical patients and not recreational users.
Without my recreational use of cannabis, I would never have discovered it as a medicine(at the very least it would have been far down the road). My only problem with the situation is that recreational users are forced to hide under the umbrella of medical marijuana.
My only problem is the whole dispensary bullshit. Just because I'm 21 and look fit meant I got treated like a recreational user abusing the system and to be honest it bugs the fuck out of me. I lost serious amounts of weight and got down to about 110 lbs at nearly 6 foot and dealt with throwing up about 4-5 times a week, almost once every morning and I got use to spending 2-3 hours in the bathroom at a time. I visited my doctor about once a week for six months and spent over 2,000$ on pills that insurance wouldn't cover.
I really just can't explain with words how bad I felt on top of that loosing my friends and relying on others to support me which made me feel even worse. That being said I was quite broke after not being able to keep my job due to the fact that I was seriously too sick to work. Kind of blows my mind of things have changed.... anyways...
I got sick of telling the dispensaries how broke and sick I was. I mean it seems like dispensaries deal with a fair amount of healthy people that they don't have a problem charging outrageous amounts too but if you tell them how sick you are they're more than willing to work with you.. So instead of dispensaries/collectives treating everyone like their sick, they treat them like a customer who is paying for some 'commodity' when really they should be dealing with extremely sick patients that need quick and safe access.
I just feel like I was rarely treated as a patient or someone who was sick so much as a customer.
