More germinated than I planned on:) Help! !

Okay.... So after 1 cfl grow under his belt using bagseed my buddy took the money and invested in a 5x5x7 grow tent with 1 600 watt ballast and an 6 inch 429 cfm fan with a carbon filter. After getting 10 seeds 5 ice and 5 wonderwoman, he germed them all hoping to get at least 5 plants! 2 weeks later they have all 10 begun the veg state! Yay! Well kinda:) Wasnt planning on this many plants and pretty sure I dont have enough light or room to support them into flowering:( Any suggestions? Please keep in mind that this is a first serious grow... Thx in advance for all the help!

Are they all female or reg seeds?if fem12/12 afew ,if not sex them before flowering,i grow 4x4x6.5 1000watt. Run 8-10female just dont veg as long

His light is only a 600... Is that gonna make a huge difference? Im guessing yes but what Ive read:( And to what height should I veg?

oh wait, i thought we were talking about your buddies grow here?? :D

anyhoo's, i'd not worry about it too much yet m8.. some plants might not make it far enough to reach flowering, you might get a few runts that you just won't want to keep around, etc, etc..

i usually start off with about 2x's the seeds ( regulars) as i plan on having in flowering just to take into account things like males, slow growers, problem children, etc...
even though you're growing fem's, mutants can and still do happen from time to time ime.. better to have a couple too many then not have enough imvho.. :D

Thx! So he probably shouldnt worry about scrog?

if you're new to growing, i'd not worry about scrog until you get a few good grows under your belt.. i'm not saying a newbie couldn't pull off a scrog grow with no issues, but ime it's always easier to keep things simple for a few grows till you get a feel for what you're doing and also what the plants like and dislike..
again, this is just my $.02, and i have seen plenty of new growers pull off a killer complicated hydro grow for instance.. but i have seen probably just as many fail miserably and they probably would have been better off had they started off with say a simple soil grow..

Thx again! And the new thing makes sense! Wasnt mentioned but this was a soil grow for that reason! Only question is, say 8 are keepers, how high should they be vegged before put into flower with a 600 watt light?
