I would feel fan-fucking-tastic about it. Maybe the Democrats would then examine their stated positions on civil liberties and actually start supporting civil liberties as a result. If Obama wins maybe the Republicans will examine their stated positions on small government and actually make government a bit smaller.

I would feel even better about it if Gary Johnson took 30% of the popular vote.

What I mean to say is... if Obama is handling the things that are MOST IMPORTANT to YOU... the way you would like for him to, then vote for him and that counts as one vote. If you think Mittens is the answer for our country (then God help you) vote for him and that counts as ONE vote. If neither of those guys is handling the shit that's important to you the way you want and you vote for them... that's a worthless vote. If you vote for a candidate that represents your beliefs even though you KNOW that he won't win... that vote counts double. You give your candidate 1 vote and you take one away from the fucker who isn't doing you quite right.
