Sudden problems? Water ph testing! Nutrient lockout? Advice needed :3

Because I'm in the learning process would you mind telling me why you think there never was salt buildup? What are the symptoms that tell you that? What leads you to think they were starving the whole time?

your using a weak nutrient at 1/3 strength. Your plants are lacking all usable nutes. You would need to have fed them WAY to much to have a salt build up. Then you flushed out what little you did have.
 
Makes sense. I guess I was constantly under feeding because I read everywhere that over feeding is probably the #1 mistake new growers make! I gave them a feeding yesterday and I think I will foliar feed them as well (or would that be over kill?). I'll keep you guys updated.

what did you feed them, how much did you feed? I never spray my plants with anything unless to treat for bugs or P/M
 
that victorygardens douche was trolling a thread of mine. He gave me completely stupid ass advice.. then once he realized it... decided to just deleate all his posts and proceed to just call me names and flame.

Just another little kid he thinks he knows all. Pretty funny shit.

ahahahahaha Seriously?? Deleted all his posts after he was caught giving bad advice??? Couldn't even man up to his mistake??
 
yeah, I designed a light controller for 14 ballasts using relays and a cheap 120 timer. Was asking for confirmation that I had the wiring correct for the 120V timer as it is on a 240V 10/3 wire circuit. He says "why don't you just buy two $70 240V spa timers?" Ummm, because the relays I bought cost $20 total? I think the whole controller, with timer relays, and all receptacles will cost me a total of about $60. $80 if I want to install a hot start preventer.

anyways, pretty funny that I'm labelled as the douche bag with nothing to offer. While the threads he has started concern buying seeds and talking crap in the toke and talk section. Kind of comical.

a total of $104 +tax and you could eliminate a whole 110volt circuit and the use of a cheap timer and relays?, Sounds like bad advise to me. LMAO
 
Wow! You guys really went at it! Lol well to smooth things out a bit... Everyone has there methods of mayhem, while some work this way some work other ways. Keep in mind that you can take or leave a suggestion it's just that a suggestion. So I hope your meters arrive and you can fig things out a bit can't really remember what post was about but ph needs to be on point for proper nutrient uptake along with levels of food. Let's all chalk this up to constructive criticism and continue to spiral outward! As for people being a troll or what not, come on now! why possibly ruin someone's meds in an attempt to prove a point. I've wrote things on here that got shot down by some and after the fact I respected it because it was another angle to look at things. So please if quarrels arrive take that stuff to private message and go at it in private. Hope all goes well with your garden, and remember everyday you continue to grow is another day of experience and with experience comes wisdom.
 
Hey guys, just a minor update. I still haven't received my meters but I did notice some new green growth! I still have hope! :D
Would it be dangerous to over-feed at this point? I just fed my plants with a full dose. I'm curious to know if it's better to give less than more?

Never increase your nutes too quick. Plants need to get used to food gradually. I wouldn't go above a full dose now unless you see more problems with new growth fading to yellow..if they seem happy enough then you could increase the dose, but feeding them more than they want will not give you bigger buds it will give you nutrient burn. Try to learn how hungry they are, by increasing slowly...
 
I wouldn't advise doing it now, or on this grow at all, but what I like to do is increase my dose every watering until I see the tips turn color a tiny bit then back off a bit, I like to push my plants to their limit. I like to see what they can handle because some plants are a lot hardier than others

BE FAIR??? you guys damn near ruined the girls grow. I think It was the best advise givin in this whole thread, you jumped on the salt build up bandwagon with the other guy and you guys couldn't have been more WRONG, so If I were you, I would just duck out with your tail between your legs. You just got schooled.
