Money can't buy you health, dignity, a peace of mind, friends/family, a purpose, laughter, tears, or personal skills, self-confidence, world peace. After a while, that lifestyle will get old if its not complemented by things that have nothing to do with your financial situation.
It can't take you back in time to fix things you regret, or bring back a loved one.

cant buy you, dude if i had a car, better clothes (not like i care just stating) , a permenant home instead of renting. money would have for sure bought me a sense of confidence because i wouldnt worry about not getting from place to place( come think of it with my new place i havent worried) or if i'll be able to pay for rent instead of wondering if il sleep on a bench. it can buy you health. the apples and oranges are good for the diet. ive had money and it bought me peace because i had 1,000 waiting and sitting there so i knew rent would never be a problem i was happier then because all i had to do was grab 350 put it into a money order and within 2 weeks i got the 350 back from working in the wood shop. it can buy security thats for sure. being "poor" makes it harder to have all those things
Money doesn't buy you health. Why is Steve Jobs dead? How can a number in a bank account give you confidence in life? For example, say you love playing basketball, how is being rich off the court going to affect your confidence on the court? It's irrelevant.

Yes and no. I'm more than content with not being filthy rich but at the same time if I had no money at all I'd imagine there wouldn't be much happiness going on. Gotta have a few bucks for rent and beer.

for me personally it gives me the edge to be able to say. ive got the money to buy my fruits and veggies or look better so when looked at even if i just came from the road ambercrombie and fitch shirt is dirty but it is socially accepted because it is of a brand people like to look at instead of a shirt from the walmart. my car can get me to point b, i can hold my head a little higher because i can pay for the things needed instead of thinking i may not have the money to even grab a hotel. though i do understand were your coming from and could hold my head high because even being "poor" i am able to go yeah who cares i know i will have a place to stay. it makes the process faster of getting what you want/need. right now my place is filled with nothing. if someone were to walk in my place their face would be... interesting to see. they would want nothing to do with me because i have no couch for them to sit on or anything to give them to drink. I am deemed unworthy by anyone who goes to a university to be around because i own a wheelchair, computer, clothes, and that is it. i dont own a car, nice clothes, or a t.v. i dont have the confidence to say that if i welcome someone into my place they will be at home. money gives someone confidence to face anything because i could just turn around and give to people like i was given. I cant even pay for my books for school, i know its covered. but not by the work i have done, half of what ive gotten im grateful for very very grateful but its all given to me it almost feels like i cant earn my way. that to a human can be demeaning in it self. i am glad ive been given it all, but at the same time i feel like i am i human waste staring at walls for an hour or so a night after i come home from trying to get free internet. having to call 3-4-5 times for a guy who wont call me back because its possible my out of area number is the reason. i cant even spent 40 bucks to get a new phone card. i have to use the cell from the foodstamps i get. what more can i tell you to help you see money is a giant help in how people will view your worth.

the constant chase of money can distract you, personal goals, can distract you, exchange of hours of your life and over time can distract you, balance is what i have found that can work but you have to have money to find balance if your teeth get fucked you need money if you car breaks down you need money the electricty is do and you need money you need nutrients you need money its hard but ya the more money the more problems lolz shure do have alot of friends wen you doing good but wen you aint lolz very few thats the way life is..
