Iv bitched about people getting welfare who havnt earned it, basically stealing it from people who have worked (who need it for whatever reason) or have a disability.
Theyre called cheese eaters, they're parasites and they contribute nothing to the community.
Like the women here who have kids purely cos it'll increase their welfare cheque.
Whats so wrong with wanting to deny welfare to people who havnt paid into the pot?

Gun control is not going to prevent tragedies such as mass murders. When a mentally unstable person makes the decision to do something like this, they are going to do whatever they can to achieve their goal. If their goal is to kill a bunch of children in a school, you better believe it's going to happen regardless of gun control laws..A lot of the time their goal is simply to kill a large amount of people and then end their own life. Do you really think stricter gun control is going to stop them from doing this??

no, but i do think common sense gun safety can prevent or mitigate the massacres. i can show you that it is demonstrably true that less people will die in these massacres with simple, common sense gun safety.

there is nothing about aspberger's (which will soon be removed from DSM diagnoses and placed into the broader autism spectrum) that predisposes someone to mass murder.

Buck, the mental health aspect is being ignored in favor of gun control. Our political correctness won't allow us to say this person is unstable and doesn't need to be running loose on society without help. If we look at Columbine, Colorado, New Town etc the common theme is not only guns, but crazy people with guns. If you accept the fact that guns are a reality in the US, the best course of action to approach crazy people killing with guns would be to address the crazy. If you think you can remove guns from society then go ahead with that approach instead. I think it's non-productive, but if it makes you feel better, make a law requiring trigger locks and baby powder bullets. It will do nothing but make you feel better, but we realize that's important too, so go for it. Just know you are addressing a symptom, not a cause.

I don't totally disagree with you on welfare, but do you feel that punishing the kids involved over moms poor decisions in life is fair to them? Should they go without food and school supplies because mommy is a fuck up?
I have a much bigger problem with corporate welfare in this country than I do with some random woman scamming the system. Conservatives will bitch and complain about some black woman getting $50 a month in food stamps, but won't say a word when Exxon Mobil receives billions every year in corporate subsidies.

Have you read these threads?? They are chalk full of gun owners who are 100% opposed to any type of legislation. We have people posting here that feel that there should be no background checks, no gun registration, no limits on what types of guns and ammo you should be able to own (in case the US military turns on it's citizens), and that stashing weapons OUTSIDE of your house, not locked up, is a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

Whilst I don't blame the children, by saying nothing I'm encouraging it to happen repeatedly. Sure, itd be harsh for a few years, but if you or I or anyone else who isnt a dole addict gets the dick wet (with consequences) we've to work to pay for our kids.
Simply disallow payments for more than the first child, everyone is allowed a mistake/accident/I was drunk and didn't pull out in time, but lets not encourage "dolers" to have MOAR kids (which they most likely wont look after properly)just for the extra scrilla.

Forced legislation is worthless if the person with the guns has no common sense.
Not running red light is common sense...yet, a law against it doesn't stop it.

We have a RIU member here that thinks that's just A-OK, and there was ONE .... only ONE conservative gun owner that gave him some shit over that. Everyone else said nothing.
