That is what I keep screaming! LOL There are alot of people calling the state trying to figure out how they are going to cash in on this crop! Last time I checked the state was going to pay $97 an oz, and like you said Hippy it is going to cost alot to make alot. Am thinking a big company will have to drop roughly $20-$40k on a new spot to grow. That is ground up big commercial grow op! I had a budddy drop 5k on a brand new full hydro setup but who the fuck has that nowadays? I bet that fucking pig farmer doesn't have that! LOLYea this is going to be interesting seeing the reality check when these folks try to grow and realize with the tax system in place if ya ain't Phillip Morris or someone else who can operate a huge crop good luck making a living.
But then the state doesn't get their tax money to waste on bridges to nowhere and all the other broke ass programs!Phillip Morris will come in with some shit that is 75% thc and be able to grow it by the megaton
Then they will use that loot to lobby goverment and make growing without a half million dollar license illegal
and then we will be back to square one
Lets get rid of the market for weed entirely
Make it legal to possess and grow
Illegal to sell
has anyone checked out oregon prices? we already do top shelf indoor for $150 an ounce. The only thing any of us can do is wait and see! There is money to be made legaly, but it will be big buisness. Growers that are growing now will go from selling oz's for 220-280 a zip to sell to the state for 97? Even though you can grow more and make more the simple fact is there will be WAY more plants and WAY more costs! I know it can be done I just don't see home growers, switching to a big grow nor having the money to do it! Except for that one pig farmer!
No worries like Toke said there will always be a black market, and when the state is selling oz's for $340 there will be a HUGE market for street oz's at $280! And that's a pay raise!502 is a pay raise for drug dealers! LOL everyone that voted yes on 502 just voted to pay more for weed. At least it will be legal though!

i let a whole bunch of outdoor go for $50 an ounce, too.
learn to grow a lot for a little or perish. get used to it.
Yeah Oregon will be selling up here with cali also! They already do! I have a fealing that there is going to be alot of tourism up here in the NW as soon as the weed shops go up. People flew to Amsterdam to smoke weed why now Wa or Co? So with alot of tourism that will also drive up the street sellers that can undercut the state. I am happy for everyone but the state making money off this! I support local growers and spending the money localy to help the local economy.has anyone checked out oregon prices? we already do top shelf indoor for $150 an ounce.

check CL for portland (search "OMMP"). if you don't know anyone and have to resort to CL, you might pay up to 180 or 190, and usually that's crap grown, east of the river, garbage weed.Yeah Oregon will be selling up here with cali also! $150 an oz for top shelf? I think that is Unckle Buck oz price not average Joe price!
$3/gram = $75/ounce, that's plenty. the key is to grow more, more more.only to get $3 a gram as the grower... then be taxed 25% from the state .... also not be allowed to take any standard Federal tax deductions for businesses.....hahahaha good luck
