Nurse fired for refusing flu vaccine

I was being facetious OG. I take the flu shot every year because I had the flu once (thought I had it several times until I really had it) so I take the shot, you shouldn't have to. To me Obamacare is a major step in the wrong direction.

Years ago I used to get flu-like symptoms for about 3 days when I took the shot but they have cleaned that up. It's still just a guess though, they've missed quite a lot on what strain is coming.

Maybe you should read my edit, and then educate yourself.

You can receive the dead version in the form of antibodies, or the weakened, live version.
The live version is commonly administered as a nasal "shot"

Either way, you need to rethink your assertion that the "dead" flu virus is not the flu. If you happen to see a dead human, does that make them not human?

PS: Read the red and then rethink your statement about me not knowing the facts. The hypocrisy and irony is astonishing

There's very strong statistical evidence to suggest that greatly improved infrastructure and sanitation played a much larger role. Meanwhile SV40 (from the Polio vaccine) continues to pop up in tumors everywhere.

Vaccinations have a fraction of the mercury you eat in your tuna fish sandwich. A community depends upon immunilogical resistance in depth, these systems work best when an overwhelming portion of the population is immunized and it is not a one on one sort of solution. The more people who are immunized the less chance the virus can spread at all and being that antibodies are not foolproof, if you are not exposed because no one around you is capable of carrying the disease, then you are less likely - EVEN if you are immunized yourself, to get the disease.

You can't compare ingesting mercury orally and injecting it directly. And here's the thing, these vaccination schedules in general are highly highly aggressive and have only gotten more so at very early stages in life. @ 2 months your baby receives 6 vaccines, usually containing preservatives (aluminum, mercury). They receive a large dose at this time. (Yes Fifty) 50 micrograms a dose x 6. The daily recommended intake is .1 micrograms per kilogram - .47 micrograms depending on the source (EPA, WHO). Babies at 2 months are lucky to be 4kg. Your math doesn't add up. This is from the FDA's own website.

Interestingly they use the word micrograms when describing the dose administered per shot and the symbol µg when talking about recommended daily consumption.

So, I think it's not entirely unfair to suggest there could issues from doing this. Especially since most every study I've ever read that claims safety has had some inherent flaw ( admittedly only having read a handful years ago).

How many of those are: infants, toddlers, weakened immune (AIDS), or the elderly?

An adverse reaction to the shot is random.

Most of the time people die due to the flu for those reasons. If you're not in those categories you have no reason to take the shot. You therefore have more of a chance of the shot killing you. You can't die of the shot if you don't take it.

you have a greater chance of dying of the flu then you do of the flu shot.
 
The flu we are seeing this season is a bad one. It's the same strain that killed 40,000 people in 2003. This round of flu shots actually got it right.

It really is a kick your ass into misery for a long time strain of flu this year if that has any bearing on your decision to get one or not. I've taken them for the last 15 years and twice I had flu like symptoms for a few days and once I got the flu because they guessed wrong and I caught a different type than I was immuned for.

Any egg allergies and avoid taking one at all costs. So I guess there is egg like stuff in there? wonder what else...

About 3,100 GBS cases would occur if everyone took the flu shot in the US, which is how many die due to the flu. Those are death estimates. The CDC admits those who die of the flu would've probably died without it too. How many who get the shot wouldn't have anyway? The CDC claims you have a 59% effectiveness of getting the flu with the shot. Only 5% of the population get the flu. So how many of those wouldn't get one anyway? How many of those who get the shot practice good hygene? There is no evidence of this. We don't try to give the flu to people on purpose to test effectiveness. Because that's not ethical.

Vaccines base their effectiveness using the epidemiological method. That's not science. It's just as bullshit as homeopathic test methods. Therefore, no one knows the effectiveness of the flu shot. What we do know is the shot itself causes adverse reactions which don't happen without the shot.

I also never got the flu in 26 years, nor have I taken the shot.

My personal experience is that the last 2 years that I have taken the flu shot, I actually got the flu. The last 2 year I didn't take the flu shot, I did not get the flu. Based upon the last 4 years, I can say that not only is the flu shot ineffective, it is dangerous.
