Theres co2 in the exhaust of an engine.
My dear friend, there is an epic difference between carbon dioxide which comes from your exhale and the spent fumes from an internal combustion engine, as that is carbon monoxide, it will kill both you and the plants.
Please entertain another idea. It just isn't worth it by any stretch of the imagination.

Car exhaust generate 7,000 ppm of CO2 and 1800ppm is okay for plants and i think theres roughly 350ppm in the air naturally. My point is that if you redirected A SMALL amount of the exhaust into the grow area and raised to to about 1800ppm it would work, as long as you dont giver them too much CO2 it would work.
Some people say its not even worth using co2 tanks if your an urban grower living in a populated downtown core or near highways because the co2 levels are higher already from all the cars. CO2 from the exhaust can be redirected and used as in the grow if done correctly.
shipping containers cost a lot of money though man. like 10 grand or more a piece. Cinder block walls would work. Just buy a big prefabricated shed for like 1200 bucks and ding your hole beneath the shed and dump the dirt in a garden. Build a hidden room under a shed.
