No, mix 1 liter of molasses per gallon of soil.

Molassos is a great alternative to the incredibly over priced bud densers that idiots fall for. Use balckstrap unsulphured and mix 1tpsp to gallon of water. Works good in veg too if growing more organic.

I've done runs with and without it. My last harvest a couple days ago I fed one plant molasses throughout flowering. It was the only one out of six that started to really yellow around week 6 of flower. I feed light doses of N through week 6. The molasses fed plant still lost alot of leaves. When harvesting, I noticed no difference in size or bud density compared to the others. The only thing left to test is the taste. I'm doing a slow dry and cure so, I won't know for a few weeks. I don't flush either. I personally won't bother using it again.

molasses is a time release and is broken down by microbes in the soil rhizosphere. 1-2tsp/gal is recommended throughout whole plants life. this is for carbo production, for carb production u need a night cycle with 70-80 degree day cycles with a 10-15 degree night cycle temperature drop. any more/less than this the plant is spending carbs more on keeping its temp correct. also reccomended to use bio-friendly fertilizers if using liquid and also reverse osmosis water (harder water kills microbes, and so does high temp fluctuations.)

It is sugar's and carbs with alittle cal/mag. in Organic growing Molasses and Raw sugar Are food for the microbes in the soil. I use it, i love it, It makes the plants frostyer than with out.

Run 24 if you like. Pot has no rest requirement to veg. Only to flower.

I hear ya" on that. Just did a test. Big plant 24/7 lights for 7 weeks or so. Smaller plant 18/6 same veg time. As far as root growth, 24/7 has way more. Proof is in the pic!

That's been my experience. Any shortcomings have always been traced back to the root idiot - me. I simply cringe at the words used for nutrients including "nutrients". The worst plant mistakes I have made have involved fertilizers over the years.

Yeah, I see lot's of folks on here saying 24/7 is a waste of electricity. But, in the long run it's actually less because, they grow so fast what takes an 18/6 run plant 6 weeks a plant run on 24/7 only takes 4 weeks. I also grow in a cold basement so the extra lights running keeps my rooms warmer.

My medium is all organic as well as my nutes. I feed teas every few weeks throughout veg and bloom. I have plenty of living organisms in my medium. I'll keep the molasses for making cookies.

IME starting plants in small containers (Solo cups or whatever) and doing it properly under 24/7 and transplanting to just the next size container each transplant has yielded my best indoor plants. Big Steve still probably has me on ignore for laughing at his recommendation to do just that with containers. But winter weather here in AK forced me to start half a grow in 4" short planters and the others in the 1 quart I usually use. Those started in the smallest containers outgrew their 1 quart counterparts from week 1. By the time they get chopped in 3 gallon buckets the root system fills it wihtout being bound or unhealthy and the yield is way increased. Big Steve can you ever forgive me and thank you.
