I've herd if your smoke tastes alil nasty putting oranges or the peeling in the jars while cureing will add sweetness??? Any truth to this at all

It might change the smoke a little bit and might change the aroma.
as far as adding sweetness the peel would have to be composting to leave an amount of sugars to add sweetness.
i don't want that in my herbs:p just roll a flavored blunt wrap:p

I dont why it would. Have you smoked an orange peel.

Can't say I've ever wanted to but I have always heard this so i'm wondering if it would help taste. I know molasses will if u add while flowering but i'm a lil late for that trick :-)

Molasses will have little, if any effect on overall taste.
Molasses is used in soil to assist with microbe growth for better organic/soil production.
Sweet tasting buds are achieved during a well done cure after the chlorophyll have been broken down.

oh and edit:it can be added whenever

proper dry / cure is where it's at, unless you want to smoke something that tastes like freshly cut grass, hay, or seaweed.

if it's already dried but smell like hay, try putting it in the fridge for 24 hours. The whole jar, sealed.

Can't say I ever woke up with a goat but a dogs burp is the most vile smell in the world.

I remember putting orange peals in a bag to moisten it up if too dry.
I would use a small piece lettuce myself.

i've only ever heard of an orange peel in the curing buds to reintroduce moisture if the bud is dried too fast. still doesn't seem like a good idea to me though, seems futile.

Orange peels may mold up your buds. It happend to my buddy. Ruined a 1/2 lb. So be careful with that.

Or alternatively.. cure the fucker properly and the chlorophyll-based shit will be out with a nice terpene scent.

I hope people know that I'm joking about burying it.
I tried to be sarcastic, but I most likely was unsuccessful.

Apple slices are the best way to rehydrate. Just be sure to maintain airflow, or you'll get mold.

You'd be amazed what people try to make things better...lol I caught the sarcasm, but we have a few who may not.. and may not ever.

I tried it, didn't notice a difference. I didn't use much though; so who knows?

To me, you'd do better with specially formulated amino acid and carbohydrate chains.. if you're that bored re: OP's original question.
