question about dog and fan leafs

Anybody know if it is harmful to dogs to eat fan leaves. My dog seems to love them.

My little terrier if allowed in the flower room will jump up and grab a branch and hang in the air until it breaks or I chase him whichever comes first. He then lays down and lazily field strips it to shreds. He's about 14 lb now and it has not hurt him yet.

Sometimes when I smoke he'll come over to examine the exhale and then watch TV and take a nap.

But I don't let him have it often. So it's a rare treat. Oh and I'm more lenient about exhaling toward him than allowing him to eat the plant. That's the once or twice a year thing.

Thanks a lot. I didn't think it would hurt her but you never know. Like they can have tomatoes but the leaves are toxic apparently. So thanks for the input.

My dogs were always on the prowl for leaves and roaches. Never hurt them, they just go to sleep.

Dogs (and cats) eat grass whenever they can...think a fan leaf is about as harmless.

My little dog used to nibble the fan leaves too. They know what's good and what isn't.

you're right about the tomato leaves. they're in the nightshade family and are poisonous. marijuana leaves are no problem. maybe good.

Tomato plants are whats known as a nightshade.. which are poisonous leaves edible fruit.. all of cannabis is edible and from what I heard is as healthy juiced as wheatgrass... I did hear a report that dogs in california/oregon/etc are affected by the smoke tho in a negative way.. not sure if its just people trying to stop people from getting their dogs high (a motive) or if its the truth ... ive known about 70 people who got their dogs baked and nothing happens dog either likes it or doesnt i suppose just like people.
