Too early to tell! You'd have to wait to see alternating nodes before you'll see pre-flowers and be able to sex while still vegging. The plant looks good. A little yellow but that might be the light. The leaves themselves look healthy from what I can see. Looks somewhere around 3 weeks, yeah?
Yeah it's actually three and a half weeks, this is still my first grow I ordered some Northern lights from nirvana and they're just starting to germinate now I am running 3 100watt daylight fluorescent bulbs which I just switch to from 3 100 watt soft white and also have 2 24in t5 fluorescent bulbs. I keep hearing the daylight cfls are better for veg. Im only doing 1 plant at a time in this setup
Males have stamen, females have calyxes (seed bracts) and stigma, or pistils or, "hairs"
These are their reproductive "organs" They will show up where stems meet main branches.
It is pretty easy to tell when they show sex. This usually takes around 6 weeks IME.
If youre not seeing either, its too early to tell.
And it looks pretty good. Maybe a little hot. Those spiral CFL's are really inefficient grow lights especially when hung vertically. A T5 or even T8 fixture with a couple "cool" bulbs would be a better option and are just as accessible and affordable.
Yes they are florescent fixtures, been using them now for some yrs now and have decent grows with them, I have 3000K bulbs for flowering, don't understand why people go cfl's, the amount you have to buy doesn't make sense to me, one 2ft 2 bulb will easaly grow 3 decent plants, here's a pic of what I believe is an afgan kush I have growing, it's 6 weeks veg, it's the only one out of 4 seeds that popped.
I have 2 2ft florescent t5s and 3 daylight bulbs 100w each what is wrong with that setup? Or how many plants is that enough light to grow? Am i even on the right track?
Doesn't make sense, 2ft T5 lamps are 24W and 4ft are 54W, not sure where you got 100W, depending on where you bought them 2 ft T5's usually come with 6500K bulbs (24W), I think you may be mistaken on the wattage, at least that's my understanding.
