Whats goin on trey, I am currently doing a grow in the exact same style of closet. 
I have a 150w hps and 312w of cfls with three short girls as u can see.
But after this harvest i plan to set up a 600w hps/mh in there. Gonna get a cool tube so heat shouldnt be too bad.

2x4x8 would be good for a small flower room or all in one. you don't need as much space for the veg area but in a small space it will be hard to do a larg # of clones + mothers + veg. you could put a kitchen rack in the remaining 2x2 and use cfl or 2ft t5/t8 for clones/veg...then just hang some panda over it. thats kinda tight to do a perpetual tho but not impossible.

Hey thanks again guys I never though my first post would get this much positiVe feedback. Your grow looks really good nice job!! I don't need a lot of clones just a couple to restart the flowering process after harvest. This is all just so confusing but I am sure it will make more since after the first grow. I can't wait to get my equipment and get a indoor grow under my belt!!
I am not exactly sure if you cen see it out not but in those first pictures u cen see a white board going across the wall I was wondering what do you think about having the flowing space on bottom and having veg up top? I'm thinking there's like 5 ft on bot and 3ft of clearance on top

not anymore i moved my flower area into a tent
my cellphone takes crappy photos. anyways the vent set up is pretty easy just hang the filter by the ceiling then--->light hood--->inline--->out. make a seperate intake at floor lvl.

One thing you can consider is growing auto-flowering plants. The idea is that you plant a seed (or two) every two weeks or so, and after 70 days you harvest a plant every two weeks or so. Auto's are relatively small (usually between 1 and 2 feet), are not light dependent so you can have your grow room with an 18/6 schedule and have both new plants sitting right next to plants about ready to harvest. From the bud-porn I've seen of auto's, you could probably have 12 plants growing in that closet and you don't need a separate veg area.
I personally have had dismal luck with autos, but I think that has more to do with the strain I picked than anything. There's a auto-specific thread in the forums where you can check out how these things grow. It's worth considering if you're only growing for your personal use. I would say that if you get good at growing auto's you easily could yield an ounce a plant.

I wis h I were growing for my own use lol, I have family that is interested is some of the bud I produce that's one of my main concerns. I am sure having a plant or two every 14 weeks would hold me over but what I want to accomplish is a pound every 8 weeks or maybe like 3/4 pound.

Ive been looking that up for so long and i want to say thanks for making it so simple, u may not have done it on purpose but that jus clarified it for me.
Ok so u did a vertical grow, What did u do about top lighting?
And i dont know if u can see this in the pic but there is a board at the bottom left of the pic that i plan to replace and vent hot air out of(it leads to the structure of the apt building). So it will go Filter--hood--inlilne--panel and a fan to move air around in the closet.

I would say get your set-up dialed in, grow a couple of plants and harvest them before you attempt to go perpetual. There's going to be a lot of obstacles to clear until that point. What method of grow do you plan on? Soil/ Hydro? I would recommend soil for starters. Go easy on nutrients, use amended soil, like subcools supersoil. Then just water with plain filtered or R/O water and maybe some molasses. For nutrients stick with worm castings, compost, kelp meal, and maybe some guano mixed with a good peat based mix with plenty of perlite or volcanic rock for aeration. Once you go through the process of dealing with bugs, nutrient deficiencies/lock-outs, stress, etc. Then you can venture on to bigger things. Practice cloning. It will take time and patience. Expect around 12-16 weeks before you harvest and smoke your buds. Learn to dry and cure properly. It seems like a lot, but practice makes perfect. Good Luck and Happy Growing.

the photo is from my tent, its alot bigger so i'm doing vert there(no top lighting just the 600). in a small space it's prob better to do horizontal. screens are nice for small spaces so you can get a realy even canopy.

I would say if cutting holes and building a little is not an issue, slap some plywood on the front, cut in/out holes, get fan and cool tube 400/600 watt hang it up, and hopefully with some fan's possible AC ducting, you'll be rocking out some madness from that hole in the wall. lol

Ok.....a pound every eight weeks....in a closet. I can only gage that feat by what I've grown (I'm harvesting my second grow soon), and you'll have to be a much better grower than I am. I may get four ounces from my three plants. I didn't screw anything up during this grow. I used good soil, smart pots, vegged for 8 weeks, am in my 9th week of flower, used a decent strain, had a 400w HPS for flower, and used good organic nutrients.
Can you get a pound from a closet....sure....using a SCROG, and some sort of hydro system. But then you probably won't be able to do this in 8 weeks. Once a SCROG is in place, you're committed to it until the end.
