i have used quick fix for a dot random in california they used our regular lab the difference out here is that the test results go to the dot who in turn [if dirty] yanks your license as well as shares the results with your employer on another occasion i took & passed a dot mandated test i hadnt smoked in about a month but was taking # 5 hydrocodone [vicodin] & i was expecting a problem or they would at least ask to see my prescription but never a word was said or question asked i dont know if a dot new hire test is different than a dot random i only drive local & interstate might differ as well my friends use the whizinator type that goes around your waistsalivatester

Did you use the one with uric acid? It's also known as Canadian version.

That def wont work ive already researched it. It's only good for rapids but this test goes straight to gc/ms.

My guaranteed NEVER FAILED DOT and Parole/Probation/Security Clearance post job:
1. Do not use illicit drugs, abuse prescription drugs, or use Cannabis.
2. See step 1., repeat as needed.
Or, you could search threads for the past couple years, where a number of CMV operators have commented.
New guy with the vinegar suggestion: Are you daft? Or just really uneducated about "flushing" with relatively a strong acid? I guess that, 10 minutes prior to starting your vinegar drinks, you could drink an 8 ounce glass of water with a couple tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate, to neutralize the acid.

i went over 2 years on probation drug tested every month smoked all month long every month and never popped dirty i have known countless others also try that and never popped dirty either but that was late 90's early 2k's so they might have changed they way they test the shit now

Damn really? I was hoping for a spectacular show! and yes THAT is surprising from the times I've mixed bases and acids it was quite heated shall we say.

This is no ordinary base ... it's the bubbling-off of all that gas that has a cooling effect. Oh to be sure I have experienced, exploited and enjoyed acid/base exothermy on more than one occasion ... just not (that i will admit) internally. cn

No I haven't but the hub was laughing his ass off over their airplane decompression scenario. Apparently it didn't pass his lived through this shit test LOL.
We have a cardiac and duodenal spincter that will vent pressure so a hole shouldn't be an issue just a lot of painful gas. I figured until you reached the cardiac sphincter's release pressure there was going to be some discomfort from heat and pressure which would rapidly build.
So I was thinking there'd be much jumping around and squeeling. Then I figured he'd blow like old faithful except it would be a foam geyser. Anyway that was sort of what I was thinking LOL.

Thanks CN for reminding me about the phase state change and the multiphase (foaming), of the bicarbonate as an energy sink. I need to smoke less and do chemistry more.... but math and software is easier **whine**.

The scary answer is "probably just fine". While other kids were wasting their youths doing the lame geeky stuff that made them retire at forty as billionaires (math and software), i was trying to recreate the glory days of the Germanic obsession with mixing insane toxic improvisation A with even more insane toxic improvisation B and harnessing the the resultant BOOM to achieve ausgezeichnete altitudes/velocities ... and am lucky to have made it this far with the full ten-count!! cn
