There's the current list of strains I have going right now.


I have a few crosses planned for this grow and more for the next. But we will start out simple here as it's my FIRST breeding project.

I have already collected the pollen from my Male Spyders. they were really cool looking male hermies.
Not female herms. lol... males with pistils.

According to Canned Abyss, the creater of Spyder and Black Creek Gardens, all the males do it.
but the females do not. and have not as of yet...


So I have already pollenated 1 of 3 female Spyders that I have going and it looks like my first ever attempt at making seeds is going to work.

Now it's time to list my planned crosses.


Blueberry Yum Yum(female) x Blue Dream(fem pollen using Colloidal Silver 150-500PPM)
Blueberry Yum Yum(male) x Blue Dream(female)

Blue Dream x GDP = Purple Dream.
I am not sure if the GDP will be male or female. so I have no idea if I will be making a feminized version or regular version like the testers(attitude freebies) are.....

Blue Dream(female) x Spyder(male). this one is going to take a lot of time to stabilize however I don't mind growing weed over and over and over. so i'm going through with it. Should have a 100% auto locked in by F5 right?

As pics become available I will post them.

Fell free to ask questions or just comment on what I am going to be working on.

Turning female plants male to collect Feminized pollen. This a one way growers use to create Feminized Seeds.

I just started another thread explaining the whole thing. I usually link people to other sites but I think it's time I just brought the info to the RIU forums.

Starting with 2, for a better chance of collecting Viable pollen for this project......

I'm doing whole clones to get as much pollen as possible to collect rather than just doing a branch and leaving it to spread within the garden.

I have a closet set up with a 150w HPS for this. :)

I'm doing the same with a whole plant. He's small but should produce a lot of pollen. That is if he ever turns male. I should have started the mom alongside him rather than ahead. Thankfully my BD cut can go forever. I want to get a fairly large number of beans out of this run. I want to cube my BD cut bc she's an amazing plant that has helped me so much I want to share a stable version of her with the world.

Extremely forgiving, HIGHLY clonable. I've taken as many as 20 cuts in 24 hours. and she shows NO signs of stunting.

Those aren't stable, there's a wide variety of phenos. Stable means that if you cross siblings the offspring will resemble each other and the parents. HSO is just S1s, you need a few backcrosses to stabilize the plant.
But yes The BD clone is an amazing plant and her children are good.

You know HSO blue dream is just a feminized Clone only right??
it's not a completely new cross... they only feminized the strain to make it available to everyone.

I have not seen different pheno's with HSO blue dream. and I am not the only grower I know who has it or has grown it... Mine and all the ones I have seen grow nearly identical minus environmental factors.


I also have a seed for the Clone Only version from a friend. and I can say for sure if I popped it I wouldn't be able to tell the two plants or their clones apart.



I can show you what I am talking about if I had the time............. but simply put, ~Dankster~420 has a Blue Dream growing as I do. his is Clone Only I believe and I have HSO. both look the same grow the same. just stress factors separate the 2...

I've watched several grows of the HSO BD because I grow the cut and have been curious to see how her S1 children do, there's a lot of phenotypical variety as would be expected with an S1. If you've got one that's phenotypically similar to the clone that's awesome. Also HSO won't talk about how they breed their gear so I'm sure they haven't done multiple rounds of selections to backcross a few times because they would be talking about that.

Yeah I got lucky I guess. because it is so similar to the clone only....

Anyways. just crushed up the last of the dry Spyder pollen sacs.....Snapshot_20130827.JPG.. Gonna crush it up a little more before I store it... I know there is viable pollen in there. lol(only because I've already used it and :) it's working.)
