Week 2 on 11/12
I increased light by 30min for week 2 of flower.
Everything is looking good. Trichome production on all three plants is looking a little weak. We will see how things develop.
The F1 plant that I moved into the living room has been pollinated by the Durban Poison. I dont plan to do anything with the seeds.
The terps on the flower are mostly cedar resin with hints of citrus. Looks like the F1 inherited SSH flower terps, but the structure and color of the Valley Ice. Pretty sweet hybrid. To bad its unstable. The good thing that has come from this small test run is that I know exactly what phenos im looking for.
The next seed run should be more promising. I think that crossing a Valley Ice male with a Silver Haze female will help produce better offspring. From that F1 lot, I can select a vigorous male to cross with my F3 mother. I think it will speed up the process of introducing vigor. The SSH seedlings appear to be lacking vigor, probably from generations of inbreeding and poor selection.
