cool to see you trying different things. If you get any male lowryder plants then you could also consider throwing them under cfls in some apparatus to collect the pollen and make seed with....

Or I might have some by that time for you to use for seedmaking.

Oh yeah toolage,
You will also have the Hijack clone as well, dont forget about that. ;)

oh yeah gigglepimp that reminds me I wanted to include this in my last post.

1000bulbs.com is the best place ever to get cfl's cheap.
and they have from 2 to 200 watt cfls most of the time. Prices vary because there are different temps and numbers of bulbs to the cases. Anything below 50 watts come in cases of 6 or more generally. and the bigger 150watt-200watt prices are for one bulb usually. (which is kinda a rip because you can get better cost from buying a case of 3 100watt bulbs for half the price of the 200watt:confused:)

Yeah i bought a HPS to flower with but due to heat issues i had to go to CFL. I think i will grow primarily with HPS if i can then have some CFL's for side lighting for my next grow. Its a while off yet anyway lol thanks again for the link!

Well, Ill point you in the same direction that I pointed toolage. If you need help figuring out what size you would need for your room pm me.
Check the inline fan section out @ htg supply.com
An 8' 250 cfm fan is only $40+shipping and that is big enough to exchange the air in a walk in closet.
That would save you the pain in the ass of using cfls.

Suncourt 4" Inline Duct Fan

4" Inline Fan rated at 80 CFM (cubic feet per minute). Perfect for air cooling a single lighting reflector or ventilating a small closet sized grow room.

$34.95
<more>
Suncourt 6" Inline Duct Fan

6" Inline Fan Rated at 250 cfm (cubic feet per minute). An Inline Duct Fan is a reliable and cost effective way to keep temperature in the indoor garden under control.

Thanks for all the help man seriously those inline fans look great. I've bookmarked this page now for reference. I think if id had one of those fans then my heat problems would have been avoided :( lol All i have to do is wait until i move now and hope that i have a decent closet. Worst comes to worse im going to buy a bud box (grow tent specifically designed for growing green. Set it up with one of those fans and my HPS and i'll be able to have it anywhere :) Thanks again man i owe you!

Sorry to go off sub toolage!

Alright construction begins lol. I've got a little bit of spare time tonight, so I've decided to go ahead and hang my HPS. I'm going to be putting the blueberry seed in the old drip and feed setup. I'll go ahead and set all of that up tonight and get it on a regular feeding schedule and get it used to the HPS. I'll post pictures hopefully tonight if everything goes well with everything.

thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunantly, I have like 0 tools. I have a screw driver, hammer and my hands. This setup is truely DIY!!! I'm omw to hell-mart right now to see if I can find something I can rig up to hold the light. It's going to have to be atleast 8 feet tall.

i think if you build something out of heavy-duty plastic pipe - i think you'll just need some glue, a hacksaw and the right amount of pipe and joints.

you can also attach 2x4s to the ceiling using plaster/drywall anchors - use enough to hold 40lbs or so and you'll be fine to hang lights from that.

you'd be surprised what you can build with a handsaw, hacksaw, hammer and a few other tools and fasteners.

but whatever gets the job done! :joint:

Problem 1 has arised. There are no studs in the ceiling in this closet. WTF!!!!!!!
If its a 2' closet it may be the ceiling joists are also 2' on center and no extra joists are needed for the sheetrock ceiling (especially 5/8"). There should be some around the edges, though they may only be very tight to the wall. I would suggest some wood (plywood) attached (screwed) to the joists if you can find any joists on the edges. Look at the ceiling outside of the closet to see what direction the joists run. Good luck.

And true, the lower the kelvin's the better.

Doesn't that Blueberry taste soooo good. Hmmm!!

Incog you are exactly right! +rep. I could go that route, or the PVC way. Imma go and see tomorrow how much it'd cost me to construct this PVC stand. It would be easier to raise the light on the pvc stand but we'll see.

Email : Is there any certain tools, joints, or pipes I need to be looking at tomorrow??

Tell them you are building a freestanding clothes rack and want to build it out of PVC pipe. They'll hook you up (and who knows - maybe they'll have a prebuilt rack you can modify).
