The decline in healthcare begins

So if they have insurance

Why would they need to take an ambulance to go to ER?

I don't understand the question. Most of the people who call 911 are on supplied insurance, i.e. state insurance, SSI, ect. You pay for it, not them.

Obama wants to make it worse.

90% of the people in the ER are not paying for it or supplied insurance.. 10% have a work-oriented insurance program or cash which they paid into, the rest abuse the system. (Please note demographics for local areas)

does this answer your scenario? ..wait, i was just thinking about it.. I suppose you mean to say, "People who have insurance don't need to visit the ER as often"?

something like this? dead wrong... Most who visit the ER have state insurance and abuse it.

ata from the National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (see Data Sources) show an average of 108 million hospital emergency department visits annually in 2000 and 2001, an increase of about 16 percent from 1996-97 (see Table 1). Most of the increase—75 percent—was due to increased per person use-from 35 visits per 100 persons in 1996-97 to 39 visits in 2000-01. About one-fourth of the increase in ED visits was due to general population increase.Contrary to the perception that the uninsured account for a disproportionate amount of the increase in emergency department use, most of the increase in visits is due to increased use by insured people, especially the privately insured. Emergency department visits by privately insured persons increased 24 percent between 1996-97 and 2000-01, far outpacing the 4.7 percent increase in the number of privately insured people during this period. Medicare beneficiaries’ ED use increased at a slower rate—10 percent—but was still higher than the 4.1 percent growth in the number of Medicare beneficiaries.
Together, privately insured and Medicare beneficiaries accounted for about two-thirds of the overall increase in emergency department visits, with increased use by privately insured people alone accounting for more than half of the total increase. On the other hand, the number of ED visits by Medicaid beneficiaries did not change between 1996-97 and 2000-01, despite a 10 percent increase in program enrollment.
Emergency department visits by self-pay or no-charge—uninsured—patients also increased by about 10 percent between 1996-97 and 2000-01, despite little change in the number of uninsured. Although ED use per uninsured person increased and is comparable to that for insured persons—about 40 visits per 100 persons in 2000-01-the uninsured accounted for far less of the overall increase in ED visits—11 percent—primarily due to their smaller numbers.[SUP]2[/SUP]
Nevertheless, the increase in visits by uninsured patients could have serious implications for crowding in public hospitals and other safety net institutions that treat a disproportionately high number of uninsured patients.

I love those numbers, dude.. thank you.. I would state a possible demographic population as possible exposure rates to my employment and historic value on this situation.

ok.. 4.7% to 24% is accountable by increased population.. bullshit.. I had to re-read that a few times. I would like to talk about why the privately insured people feel as if their money is best spent.... Are they not worried about spending caps? Do people admitted to the ER account for a higher abuse factor? Is their primary motivation for Emergency Medical Care due to 'putting their money to use'? Are there abusers on all ends of the spectrum? Are there health fanatics who choose to use the private care as much as possible. Are start-up companies giving temporary contracts which offer Private Insurance? Let's talk..

In Nor-Cal: I should say from my exp, maybe 10% of ER visits are OB related and granted a free 'State Insurance' program, many of those are drug related injuries(pills, alcohol, cigs, NEVER refer). Much less than 25% of the OB emergencies are privately insured - of these, they are MUCH more healthier. I attribute this to a healthy life-style in order to pay for private ins with sound morals and mind/employment. 30-50% of ER visits are low-lives who cannot change their clothes for months on end and they receive a state insurance program before or after the initial exposure to the ER, i.e. smokers on oxy, drug abuse, ect. 20% are unhealthy and geriatric patients from a variety of situations, mostly on private and/or state insurance with limits.

only a few are healthy people with solely private insurance, 10% or less.

I am Green-Tea party. I do not believe in limitless caps for state insurance programs from ritualistic re-offenders of self-abusive bodily harm. I don't believe a federal mandate to pay for this is the 'pursuit of liberty and happiness'.

... I am sorry, they asked for death. Why should we pay for it? I opt`ed out of my work-paid, private insurance. I took the money.

My girl who is half of my age is giving birth to my first born, I am taking the private insurance profile on my next salary-contract renewal. ...which is why I think about this so much.. YES, we in health care talk A LOT!

.. i still walked out of my ROARING years, healthy and clean - maybe 50k richer, 200k was overstate for $800 per month, as a previous member stated.

Lets talk about this.. It`s your question, I feel ya. These medical contracts for private insurance will revert back to state insurance when their contracts end.

THE DEAD LINE:

Are private insurers' temporary, and state is not temporary? Let's talk about spending caps again.

You get tax subsidies for hiring people and by giving them temporary Medical insurance. What happens when these programs run out and who pays the credits? Obamacare? You? Me?

what happens when these people go back to state medical insurance.? 20% of the time on private insurance, 80% on garbage? that's what I see.

I don't want a mandate to pay for them.. This is America but hell, is it getting worse? Why should I be FORCED to pay for state and unlimited insurance for a drug addict? Why does this hurt my premium, why am i forced to pay or go to debt jail with their fine for not paying crack-addict insurance?

Fuck Obama..

Generally, phentermine appears to be relatively well tolerated.[SUP][2][/SUP] It can produce side effects consistent with its catecholamine-releasing properties, e.g., tachycardia (increased heart rate) and elevated blood pressure, but the incidence and magnitude of these appear to be less than with the amphetamines. Because phentermine acts through sympathomimetic pathways, the drug may increase blood pressure and heart rate. It may also cause palpitations, restlessness, and insomnia. Additionally, phentermine has the potential to cause psychological dependence.

After short-term use, tolerance begins and can be followed by rebound weight gain. Long term data for use of phentermine shows no net weight loss.
Cardiovascular side effects include palpitations, tachycardia, and elevation of blood pressure. In the central nervous system, it can cause overstimulation, restlessness, dizziness, insomnia, euphoria, dysphoria, tremor, and headache. Its gastrointestinal effects include dryness of the mouth, unpleasant taste, diarrhea, constipation, and other gastrointestinal disturbances. It may also cause allergic effects - urticaria and changes in libido.

So you are going to be a FAT ass again and a drug addicted one as well

hahahaha... I will piss on your graves after you fools die.. I cost Health Care NOTHING... My BP is 116/68, I am 170lbs 2 years after losing the weight. Are you people really THAT stupid? Kick yourselves in the ass more and pay for people who refuse to get healthy.

My problem many years ago was we would stop in the ambulance for a fast-food break and work long hours, we had no choice.. Are you people really that stupid? I worked for a living, you lazy retards blame people for nothing.. Check it out, I grow better weed than you, I am healthier than you, I am more intelligent than you, my penis is MUCH larger than yours, I own a home, I live in a beautiful place, I will live another 60 years or so..

..I will piss on your dead corpse after you ignorant fucks kick the bucket. :)

ok, BP = 116/68, weight is 170lbs, I have been stable for 2 years, I told you.. My blood sugar is perfect, always has been. I vaporize 20 grams of grass per day, I passed the Police academy with a perfect 50 on written and ran the 1.5miles in less than 13 minutes. I would never be a cop, I just wanted another achievement under my belt.

I can see that too many of you lack the ability to reason with proper mind-set and you are total losers! I like it here, it reminds me of my youthful days in Los Angeles. I was surrounded by retards!

BUCK AND RICE ARE ON THE RETARD LIST! You`re FIRED!

they are too retarded to talk politics and instead insist on bullying a person who was overweight many years ago. I`m sure their mothers and fathers were total pieces of shit, they never learned anything and never felt the need to teach their children anything. Your dead parents would be ashamed of you 2.

So what about health care? I told you, I never used it.. I paid in cash.
