Whatcha think bout my new setup. 1x, 150 Watt self contained Sun Systems HPS. 4x, 23 watt, 2700k CFL's. 4x, 26 watt, 6500k CFL's. 4x, 14 watt, 7800k tubes. Space is about 2.5 x 2.5 ft. Pots are 3 gallons a piece. My blueberry is 2 weeks old while the 2x white widows are about a few days old and the bagseed hasn't popped yet.

Any comments, opinions or complaints are always welcome!

That requires alot more money then what I have currently. The 150 watt system was 90 bucks and included the bulb. The 250 I was looking at could use both HPS and MH, came with no bulb and would have cost me like 220 (for both a HPS and MH bulb) bucks.

I also figure as the plants grow taller I can put some sorta clear cover over the cfls and use them in the middle of the plant so the entire plant gets light. Not just the canopy.

a friend pulls off one plant with cfl's 2 1/2 to 3 oz dryed.

Looks good. Don't worry about the covers though, as long as you're not touching the plant your cfl's can go right down into the canopy. Break em down into singles or doubles and place strategicly. The 4' tubes work great for sidelighting also.

I'm not a huge fan of buying growing supplies online because that usually requires a valid credit card. I prefer buying locally for a few reasons. It keeps the money in the local community. More importantly should something go wrong with it I am a 20 minute drive from the store. I dont have to send it off for warranty work. I just take it to the store and boom I get a new one. I do appreciate the link though. Should help me get ideas for more goodies to buy.

I actually agree with you on buying local.

Unforunately for me, my local hydro/ grow store is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive! I will buy little things like starter plugs and maybe some light nutrients but other than that nope.

I think your little room looks pretty dope! Love how you have the 4 fluorescent pillars :)

As far as any warrany work from a HTG supply purchase, not a problem. Throughout 2008 I bought five of their 400 watt HPS/Metal Halide conversion grow lights and a couple of months after I recieved my 3rd one the 1st one went out and would not start up the bulb. I e-mailed Tony at HTG and explained the situation and he sent back a return auth number to reference my return. Before I could get it boxed up to return to them, UPS pulled up and delivered my replacment before I sent back the bad one. As far as I am concerned, HTG is "GOLDEN"....JMO:bigjoint:based on a real life experiance....Their customer service is top notch

More pictures for you. My 4th and final plant sprouted. 4/6 seeds planted germinated. Not too shabby Id say.

Shit is exploding gentlemen. Over night my blueberry plant put on almost 3/4ths of an inch in height.

Photo 5 : White Widow Plant 1
Photo 6 : White Widow Plant 2

I didn't include a photo of the bag seed simply because it hasn't done anything worth photographing.
