Hello. First grow here. Ive got a bunch of seedlings heres the setup..
Solo cups filled with 90% coco 10% perlite.
I started seeds in paper towels with tap water (PPM 160 & smells like sulfer). Got above 90% germ rate threw them in the solo cups. I made the mistake of watering them with no nutes I put them in towels on day 1, day 3 they sprouted and I added first nutes on day 7 when they had about 2 sets of leaves. I am using Heavy 16 drain to waste.
So, so far.
I washed the coco to the right PH.
Days 1-7 No Nutes. Just Tap water with Hygrozyme (about 6ml per gallon.) Ph Balanced best I can with drop Ph tester buying electronic one withen 48 hrs. I watered them until they have runoff once a day. coco is staying moist.
Day 7 I noticed leaves were turning a little bit bright green on all seedlings. It was on the new leaves the old not pointy first leaves are still green. And there is a couple small yellow brownish spots on 5%-10% of seedlings.
Day 7 night time I gave reccommended 300PPM Heavy 16 feeding. 2ml per gallon B-52 from Advanced Nutrients and still the hygrozyme and ph tested. Temps in room have been 75-80 degrees from seed to this point and 24/7 light under approx 400Watt t-5 6 inches above leaves.
Day 8 night time I fed serving of 260 PPM Heavy 16, B-52, hygroenzyme.
Day 9 morning collected some rain water at 0 PPM I added 360PPM Heavy 16, B-52, Hydroenzyme and fed until run off.
Day 9 installed small fan blowing straight up bringing temp down to 70 degrees.
Leaves are still in same shape not getting better or worse from what I can tell.
What do I do now?
Im thinking of letting the coco dry out some cause Ive left it moist almost 24/7 and never let it dry completly could I be drowinging them? Let me know your thoughts on how to proceed. Do i need epsom salts possible Mag defficency?
Thanks in advance for help!
