  • but yeah.. long story short.. look into motorized or manual damper or louver. dry vent closer might work nice, pericope vent maybe... anything that'll give a backsplash or maze effect that'll prevent air from leaking in too much. hell if worse come to worse i'll even stuff some 100% wool fiber in the ducting to block out extra.
an inline fan to make sure the air gets there. to warm things up, i have ducting from my clothes dryer going into the basement, want to get another inline or maybe a blower to just pop onto it when i dont want to run the dryer just to heat. the house stays plenty warm to be effective to warm it up down there. when i'm flowering late, i'll cool the girls down to 55 at night. the mtf will get frosted during winter down to 35 for a night or two if i can help it. call it tradition but they respond to it very well, nice blue hues and highlights.
summers a different story, usually just run my blower on high into the basement through the damp/louv. and it keeps things pretty damn nice. again usually 70-75.. but then again, i'm only doing a little bit of growing inside during the summer if its a good sunny year, more or less just cloning and maintaining mothers inside.
muscles warm and fuzzy. strong medicine.. got it in its own room to avoid cross pollination. know a few people running it too. had sample from two sources, we like to get together and share lol.. and mine seems to be the preferred effects. got a very good pheno off a "shit that killed elvis". some romulan that i crossed with the black. other then that i've got a handful of strains waiting for a rainy day.

winter temps for me are typically 10 to -15, spikes down to -30 at times.
i ended up finding a permanent fix to the freezing problem using a motorized damper and louver that gives me a troublefree way of adjusting how much cold is coming in. have a blower fan hooked onto that thats tripped off by a thermostat when it gets lower then 60f. that goes into the basment, then i have ducting off that which forks. one of the fork is cooling the basment, other fork is ducting that runs cold air into the upper room, with just
awhile, should be my most macro/micro rich batch i'm hoping and should be close to a "just add water" system.

so what kinda variety are you looking for? the legit thunder is still going strong, if nothing else, i always have my pheno going. its still the strongest meds i've had in terms of all around run ride. they way it sends your head soaring and leaves you limp has a strange rollercoaster feeling to it, makes
hey how goes it man, always good to hear from a fellow alaskan. had a few people now try to get ahold of me to ask for follow up information so no worries, shoot away. it's going to be easiest to get ahold of me through this or on the grasscity forum under the same name, nowhere near the spam to get lost in.
so tell me about your grow experience/style, always love to collaborate and compare notes.
later on man, have a good one.
