if you are not planning on buying a legit hps system at all, then sure, the 70w is better than absolutely NOTHING but cfls. but if you are looking for a substitute for an actual grow light setup, then no, it's not worth it. i don't know if that made any sense, but I hope it did. good luck.

update. things are looking good for the two that have already sprouted. I'm still waiting on the others. the two females are living strong. they look a little tired because i took these pics a couple hours before the lights go out.

update. so today I went to the store and got some goodies. I bought a 200cfm squirrel cage fan, that is pretty quiet. I bought a ph up/down system, and a dinky ph tester. The guy was super rad. He gave me some samples (which are pretty decent sized!) of GH Flora Nova Grow and Bloom, and he also...
