How? natural gas can run a generator to produce the electricity (but less efficiently. Any time you change energy mediums, you have a loss)
Can us it for a heater if the room is too cold (but that's a rarity)
Is the heater now 220V ? If so, its more a matter of the getting the right plug for the light(s).
If its 110V, then why go to 220V? It doesn't save any money, just reduces the size of the wire needed for the same watts being pulled/used.
Make your own seeds. Buying all the time is a waste of money and has its dangers.
Get a strain you like, and do a grow just for seeds. Yeah, the weed will be inferior, but its still smoke-able. And a single plant can make a LOT of seeds. And this really pays off for autos. They mature...
THe reduntant of indigo and a '99 is counter productive and might cause issues with two brains controlling and polling.
As for temps rising on a reboot, I wouldn't worry. a Mac boots in a minute or two. Temps won't change *that* fast. If they do, then you have other issues to fix.
My DIY...
I'm still around here and there.
Indigo kicks ass. Applescript is the bomb with it. (anything Indigo won't do can be done in AS if ya got the Pro version)
Obviously need appliance modules for lights and fans.
The EZIO's that support the DS18B20 one wire temp sensor suck. They lock up and...
Do you want to see how much is being used ? An Amp clamp will do
Or to put a variable load on it to see how much it can take? I'm sure there are, but gonna be expensive.
I'd say burn. Yellowing from lack of N is more uniform.
Let the soil basically dry out. just one time, let it get dry enough that the leaves start to wilt. Then before watering, lift the pot and feel its dry weight. Then water and only water when the pot gets light again.
In 4 gallon pots I...
I've only used the moisture control. Worked splendid for me. Added a bunch of perlite (NO vermiculite) and some lime to tweak the pH. Vegged in it, then x-planted into fresh for flowering. Actually just cut the bottom off the grow bag and placed on top of a 4 gal bucket. The N in the nutes...
Watts is watts.
You pay for power used. Watts is volts X amps
So 5 amps of 230 VAC is costs the same as 10 amps of 120
500 watts of 120 VAC costs the same as 500 watts of 230 VAC.
Given an option of 120 or 230 you will gain a ever so slight benefit of 230. But it will *NEVER* seen in a...
