Also the yellowing on the leaves could just be from them budding alot of times when the plants start to bud they discolor because they are using their chlorophyll to produce bud not the green leaves.... maybe
so i planted we planted the seeds today and decided not to use the flourescent tube seeing as we couldnt get it set up it didng come pre assembled or with a cord. So for now were using 1 cfl per plant the 90w 1200lumen version daylight spectrum. i wouldve posted some pics but my freinds so...
hell ya i finally am seeing the little seeds cacking and sprouting tomaroow i will plant them "root down" lol i should have some pics tommarow thanks for the help so far many more ?s to come as well as some fine ass weed hopefully (fingeres crossed)
you may wanna move your cfls closer to the plants it looks to me that your plants are stretching up to the light. Put the about 2-4 inches away. This will also make them grow faster (more concentrated light)
okay so today i bought
2 4 foot flourocsecnt lights 40 w each bout 2000 lumens each
4 CFLs i bout the ones that were 90w and said daylight for spectrum color
does this sound okay to start i know im going to need atleast 4-6 more cfls for 6 plants
THANKS for The Posts
thanks also what would u recomend using for soil during the first stage (or whatever u call it) also id like to know if those lights would be enough for six plants. Or is there a standard amount of lumens for one plant.
THANKS
Hey all im new to this im planning on buying three 36" flourescent tubes tommarow there 40 w each and should put out 2500 lumens each. does this sound okay for 5-6 plants for the first stage? Also planning on using 6 CFL lights. For the veg and flowering stage a metal halide light sound okay...
