I thought the idea was to have a nice bushy canopy up top ( light only pentrates downward bout 18 inches), And have as many bud sites as possible horizontally, with no growth on the bottom third (to encourage growth at the top canopy). the lights are on top, so vertical growth would be wasted...

Sounds logical also, I have room to grow upwards but not sideways, just dont want those long skinny single top colas...is that what I would get?? On that note, do you think the fact that there were 15 24 inch tall bushy plants crammed in a 4x8 the reason I only got 1.5 to 2 oz's each?

I scrificed something allright, quite a mess! Sounds feasible, I have 7 foot tall tent with two 600 watt Eurohoods hanging. Should I not allow for additional veg time after FIM? I mean you can make your cuts, then immediately flip? Thought you need time for additional sites to grow?? Thanks...

I have a 7 foot tall tent. Two 600 watt eurohoods hanging above. So, accounting for the hoods and the fact they are two feet tall now, I probably have another 2 feet I would say safely. Thabnks man!

Thanks man, would you FIM and flip within a week considering thier are 15 of them in a 4x8 tent and already 24 inches tall? I FIM'd last time and got really nice buds (I included pics), but only 1.5 to 2 oz's each plant. Now I wonder if Vegging longer without limiting upward growth by FIM'...
