I'm in the hills of San Diego and was curious about harvest times here. I know every strain is different but let's say generally. Been growing for 6 years now but it was always indoors. This is my first outdoor/greenhouse grow so it's a new experience. The photo was taken August 31st.
When I first mixed my batch it smelt kinda funky, like fish bonemeal and all that, now it just smells like good 'ole soil, it is lightly damp and it sweats.
So I mixed up a batch of super soil on may 10th, within 3 days I had webbing on the top, I let it go for another 3 days, then I transferred it into cans. Since then I've seen no webbing, my question is should I be worried about my soil not breaking down all the ingredients?
Alrighty then. Ill do it the way sub recomends then, but I'm gonna put a couple in 100% super soil to see the difference. Ill post up some pictures when I get my clones.
I guess the question is that are that any people on here who use 100% super soil with better results. Im interested in the idea of using all super soil because it seems like you wouldn't need to top dress a much or at all.
I've seen people using 100% super soil instead of using about 50% ss and 50 of roots or whatever they use. I only know one other person who uses super soil around here and they only do it the normal way with good results, they use it on their small 8 plant outdoor garden aswell as their indoors...
